Man this video has been such a big help. All of them on this engine have. I'm currently working on a Chrysler Pacifica 3.5 engine. Timing belt broke and bent the valves. Still got everything tore down waiting on the new valves to come in. I had no idea how to get the timing back on. It was out of time when we tore it down.
Windage tray at (45 seconds) should have been torqued to (20 ft. lbs. + 90° turn). Oil pickup tube should be torqued to 28 N·m (20 ft. lbs.) Acording to Directhit service manual and Haynes service manual for a 2010 Chrysler 3.5.
I had seen where some folks said to be very careful with the amount silicone on the oil pan flange since excess can also squeeze into the oil system when the pan is torqued down perhaps causing clogs.
Thanks for all your good info. How in the world were you able to get the inverted back bolt out of the case to remove engine from trans and then out of car? Thanks much
pump cheese I was using a different block so I just chiseled The ear off the block and I didn't reinstall the bolt on the new engine it wasn't necessary but if you're using the same block you should take the bolts off the transaxle on the back part right by where that bolt is off and drop the transaxle down so you can have access to pull the boat out good luck take some videos would love to see your progress Alfredo
If it has a gasket then don't use sealant. All that sealant will squeeze into the sump and could seize your engine! I've rebuilt plenty of engines because of this.
Eder Duarte its the lower section of the engine its incorporated into the crank if you look at video 4 you can see the front before and after the pump install
Eder Duarte the pressure switch is on the side of the oil cooler which is what the oil filter screws into . that's the oil cooler not the oil pump the pump is on the front of the engine behind the crank pulley google Chrysler 3.5 oil pressure switch then go to images and you can see a clear picture of the pressure switch location hope this helps

Cam sprocket bolts are meant to be replaced, you should NOT reuse them because of the
thread stretch. :>)
