This happened twice during 2019 especially during Elisii’s elimination. MB14’s was only like 30 seconds added while Elisii’s was almost 1.5 minutes added which completely messed him up

My prediction:
MB14 has improved a ton from before but his freestyle in extended time wasnt clean
B-art creates an amazing atmosphere in the beginning and uses monsterous beats in 1st round
NOTE: In elimination round, in the top 8 winners, B-art was 1st in it and MB14 was last(8th) (Trung was also chosen but he had somenose issues). So it was kinda natural he would lose but he gave an outstanding fight so much so it became my second favourite battle after D-low vs Colaps. Kudos to both.

Thanks for doing these analysis videos. As someone fairly new to beatboxing, I appreciate the viewpoint these provide.
As for the timer, that is a strange issue and hopefully one that won't happen again (as you said). Checking it myself, it looks like the timer was running slow, adding ~30 seconds in the first round and ~15 seconds in the second round. As you noted, the biggest effect was on MB14's first round, because afterwards, both of them could anticipate needing to go longer than originally planned. I don't know how much of an effect the timer issue had on judging, but I'd expect the judges to know something was wrong, because a beatboxer is going to plan routines for the amount of time they're allocated, and they wouldn't end 30 seconds early just because. *shrug*

To be honest, while its true this battle was not as controversial, it deserved a Madox analysis. Really shows how you need to adapt to different styles based on who you're battling like Madox pointed out MB14 being better at composing and melodies while B-ART has his crazy energy bass and drops, which makes up for the few times he messed up timing or unclean beats.

@Madox Btw the bass that mb14 used at his second round is called "Vocalized Chest Bass" and it is a sound that not a lot of beatboxers use. It is a really catchy sound if you can master it and you can make a great atmosphere for your routines

This battle is weird but so interesting cuz I think the other's weakness was their opponent's main strength so the clash really made for a great battle. Sad about the timer issue but hey mistakes are opportunities for growth I guess.
