That Sekgoma Memorial Hospital is in Serowe Village where our first President is from the former one(his son) Sir Seretse Ian Kgama comes from. Also chiefs there.
Cumon lads, you don’t expect to come across lush green velds , flowing rivers & overflowing or spilling dams in Botswana 🇧🇼! The massive Kalahari Desert covers more than 70 percent of Botswana, spans about 360,000 square miles (900,000 square kilometers, so basically 70% of what you’ll come across is just what it is- a semi arid desert😮! Yonks ago in Dec ‘94 , I stayed at Sedia Hotel, Maun 🇧🇼, just weeks before I emigrated to London, UK 🇬🇧. Trust me, that resort town is manifested with pesky mosquitoes, the size of minuscule helicopters 🚁 so cover yourselves with mosquito nets at night time 😢!
Hey Zako. Thanks for the comment It was actually very interesting for us to see what you’ve mentioned about Bots. I guess that’s the beauty of travelling. Hope you’re enjoying London.
@FriendsOnTheGoo i am glad you enjoyed your overall visit, also sorry to hear about the few disappointments i hope you share them in future episodes so as to help future visitors. 😊
First time seeing this channel and it got me watching all 3 episodes for over an hour when i was supposed to be pushing work by the way.. time is currently 2331 hours right now. I have a lot to say. Yall are riskers. Driving a long distance without knowing if there is a gas station ahead. 😂 You guys are lucky to have found lots of them anyway. Last time i travelled for that long i fuelled whenever my fuel gauge got to half because i don't want to embarrass myself and why is it that yall didnt cash botswana pulas after crossing the border!? 😂 Secondly, we didn't see y'all stop for food. Don't tell us that y'all ate those bananas and survived on that potassium till Maun. 😂 I would have stopped at every town i found to get food i mean thats what i do. Gaborone to Maun.. that's basically almost a 900-1000km drive!!! 🔥🔥 Anyway, work can wait..lemme get to the next video. Awesome overview of your trip. Loved it ❤🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for your comment Kevin, it is very heartwarming to hear such feedback ❤️🙏🏽 we really appreciate it. We actually realised on the way that most people drive with a fuel can 😂 we didn't know the gas stations were so far apart 🤣 We stopped for food at Palapye, but we were just too tired and hungry to shoot a video 😅 Thank you so much for this comment 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Kevin! Thank you so much for your comment. It really means a lot that we manage to get you binging😂 As they say, high risk, high reward 😂❤ Catch you on the next episode
@@FriendsOnTheGooyeah the government subsidizes the fuel cost but us Batswana still complain when there’s a slight increase in price(we don’t appreciate what is being done for us🤦🏽♂️)
You boys were in Gammangwato, Khama land

That area in Mopipi is not a dam but a pan. Dams are man made whereas pans are natural creations
Oh alright, thanks for the correction 😊🙏🏽
There used to be Mopipo Dam which was closed when the road was constructed and the Boteti river dry up
Big up guys...watching from Gaborone. Fully supported 😂
Thank you Mmabatho 🤭 much appreciated 🇧🇼
Back in the days there was a dam in Mopipi but it ends up dried up and closed when Boteti river dry up
