Hi, your tutorial is way more helpful than a lot of others I have watched, but I would love to see the process from beginning to end. A video for someone who knows nothing about making stickers. What do you print it on? Could you show how to line the sheet on the mat etc and then show the machine printing and cutting and how you package your stickers. Yours was really informative and even though you went through some things fast, I got most of it because I have some Design Space experience but still have a lot to learn. Thanks for this video, and hopefully you will make some more or maybe a video for the next step just showing the printing and cutting and how to do that part.
Thanks for the comment and new video ideas! I could definitely do a series that shows the various steps I take to make, create and package my sticker kits. Stay tuned! :)
Awesome job with your tutorial. I learned so much and I appreciate you taking the time to truly "teach" the entire process using Design Space. Thank you!
HI! Can you show us how to make our OWN patterns and Fonts to upload to Cricut or use for our own Business to sell if we wanted to? I would like to see videos on that, please? I like the way you explain through your videos. I'd appreciate it. Blessings!
I'm glad I came across this video. I've been trying to figure out how to make my own stickers and icons. I was about to give up until I saw this video.
Thank you so much! After looking for months how to make my own I finally decided to look on TH-cam and this was the first tutorial to show me exactly what I need to do! It's for personal use, can't wait to start making my own planner stickers!
OMG you rock!!🙌🏻 I’ve been wanting to make stickers and have watched tons of tutorial videos, but none as helpful as yours!! You are a life saver. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!💖
A million thanks to you for this tutorial!!!!!! I have photoshop, inkscape, SCAL 4 ugh i want to pull my hair out lol But you hun are God sent. He answers prayers!! lol I have sticker paper, rigid envelopes, clear sleeves, a scale the list goes on. I have had these items to long to return so they were just sitting. But you hun have helped me to blow the dust of and get to work. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! New Subbie here.
Great video! What if you wanted to position a graphic and some of the graphic went outside of a full box (for example). How to do you crop a graphic so it fits into full box?
TMarie Hey! Great question. So I think the best way to do that would be to layer the image on top of the shape, select both and slice. Then delete the part that is cut off and attach the images to print together the way you want them. Hope that helps!
i agree I have watched so many videos this is one of the easiest one to follow and understand I subbed to you as well looking forward to watching your next video
Hi. My design space when selected on a shape, only allows you to change from Basic Cut, Pen, Draw, etc as well as change the color. When I have clicked off the shape, I can see the the button greyed out that you chose that allowed you to get the texture around the 3:40 min mark. What am I not doing?
Is there an eyedropper type of tool where you can get a color from an imported picture and use that for the box background? Also, when you flatten it does it keep from cutting out your shop name?
Awesome video. I'm excited to try my hand at making my own stickers. Now I'm a complete newbie as I just got my machine, but what are you cutting these stickers out on? Is it the printable vinyl?
Sara A. So I actually use the washi setting for my stickers now. It does a perfect job of only cutting the sticker paper and not the backing page. ☺️ Hope this helps!
Hi Ashley. My boxes aren’t attaching to my sheet on cricut. What am I doing wrong? I’ve played around with the boxes to make sure they’re not to close to each other and it seems to not work for me.
Hi! Can you do a video on how to do just words with A clear back ground in cricut design space . Print and cut them too ?? Please . TIA . If You wanted them to have a squiggly back ground not a square ?
Good tutorial. Is this a “print & Cut” or a “Cut” only in Design Space? What i know is Cricut won’t allow Print & Cut if the measurement is more than 6.75 by 9.15”. Hope to see more videos from you. God bless
Lionlike Land Hi there! So yes, these are print then cut. Because Cricut has the restrictions on size, I typically like to make my sheets in sizes that allow me to print two pages at a time or one big page that would measure around 9x6. Hope that helps!!
Beauty Life Great question! It comes with the machine you purchase. Inside the box with the cricut, there is a pamphlet with directions on how to download it.
@@MLPWV I have the Cricut Maker and no, you definitely don't need a tablet to draw on! You can download the Design Space onto a computer, too! :) Happy crafting!
Great tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing. I am very interested in making my own stickers. Which Cricut would you recommend for a "rookie" sticker maker to purchase? I am hoping to add it to my Christmas List. ;o)
Hi ladies - sorry for my late response! Here are the measurements I've been using...these are specific to the Erin Condren planner. Also - these are in inches. :) Hope this helps!! Weekly Sticker Sizes Full square 1.5x2.125 Half square 1.5x1 2x1 square 3.15x2.125 Square banner 1.5x.25 or whatever you want Bottom left banner 4.75x1.35 Bottom right banner 6.375x1.35 Left skinny banner 4.75x.125 Right skinny banner 6.375x.125 Top left box 1.375x2 Far left side banner 1.375x6 Monthly Sticker Sizes Month Headers: 6.440"W x 1.488"H Date Covers: At least .25" x .25" Full Box: 1.565"W x 1.407"H Side Bar: 1.565"W x 7"H
Has something changed with the design studio versions? I follow step by step but unable to use align or some of the other things like group and un group while doing the exact same steps. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Gerid Hagerman Hey Gerid! I haven’t attempted to make my stickers since the update came through so I will need to check it out. Maybe a new tutorial is in order!
This is going to be a dumb question but I'm trying to figure out copyright rules here. So for the glitter and wood etc, did you have to create that art or is it in design space itself or is there somewhere you get it from? I assume you can't just take pics from Google.
Coraline Dean No dumb questions when it comes to this! I did create those designs and uploaded them as patterns. I don’t know all of the rules around copyright things, it original art is always better anyway!

Hi! I found all of my sticker measurements simply by doing a google search online! It took a bit of perusing, but there are several awesome bloggers out there that share all of the various planner sticker sizes!
I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time.... your shop name/banner, does it cut it out like a sticker? Or is it "printed" on? (never been able to find an answer to see if its even possible! ) your videos have been super helpful and inspiring! Just subscribed :)
Sorry for the delayed response! The shop name/banner at the top will print and then not be cut as long as you have it flattened to the main square that you have your stickers on...not sure if that makes sense. I'm hoping to do a more in depth tutorial soon!
I download all of my fonts from dafont.com! It's an awesome resource! I haven't made a video on how I do the whole process, but I know there are other videos on YT to see how to do it! :)
I am sooo very grateful for you and this video....I really believe that God sent me to you to start my own sticker store. I don’t really believe in coincidences .... So I’m inspired to step out on faith to step out into the deep to open my store. My story is interesting as I’ve created graphics for several of my Christian productions and yesterday I believe that God lead me to your tutorial and the rest is history. If your time permits, I would like you to be my mentor to get this leap of faith started. Finally someone who shows how to actually create stickers, without having to know how to draw. lol
I just found your video and it was exactly what I was searching for. Thank you so much for your tips & tutorial. 😁
Thank you so much for this video! I kept looking how to make my own and no one likes to show how. Im excited to make my own now!!

What sticker paper do you use? I have not found one that I liked including Avery full sheet labels. They all have the cut line in the back.

Life with Kristy Hey! Glad you enjoyed the video! To answer your question-these are being printed on regular sticker paper. :)
Thank you ma’am
How do you go about cutting the stickers so it doesn't go all the way through the sticker paper? I am extremely new to this so thanks in advance!

So when my Cricut cut this out it only cut around the template and not the stuff inside. What did I miss?
Did you weld everything together or attach it? It shouldn't be attached, it should just sort of sit on top of the largest box, like layers.
Thank you so much, Ashley, for this tutorial, amazing teacher and you’ve definitely earned a Sub from me 😊
How do you get them to where they are touching but not overlapping?
Hi there! That's just the tedious task of carefully moving them within Design Space with the mouse. You can place them wherever you want. :)

Does Cricut cut out your shop banner as well?
No, not if you weld the banner to the square shape of the sticker sheet.
