The original wire striper is not worthless. You just put the cable in it and then you close and hold the main blade on it, then you turn the cable and the blade does the cut. That notch also does way more functions than that.
Isn’t the issue though that if you remove the original knife, then the Spyderco ones may not necessarily be long enough to work with the wire stripper? What are the other functions you can think of for the wire stripper notch?
@@omniasomniportance3899 Who has a SAK with a Spyderco blade, a couple of people, maybe ten? I talk abou the millions of others, who own SAKS. You can use the notch to bent metal wire, create loops or half loops (hook shape).remove nails with it, open glues that their cups are glued on and can't be opened with hands, use it as a guide to create perfect straight lines and mark wood etc. Here's a TH-cam video link with it's uses. You are absolutely correct. It works well for a certain size of wire and certain size of Swiss Army Knife. Sharpening it adds some extra function and lets it work as a wire stripper on it's own.
another thing about the Wenger scissors is that they are micro serrated so they grab and hold whatever you are cutting and are supposed to be self sharpening. the nail clippers also have the serrated scissors.
Great job. I like how you fixed the worthless wire strippers. Pretty worthless when you need to use the knife with the strippers. I like the dark mod better. Great job, keep em coming.
Great job of fitting all those tools into the Swiss Flame. I'm digging the acid etched model though, having two spider co blades with hopefully better edge retention does it for me and it does look really cool.
Those are really sick. Such an amazing job! The blacked out one is my favorite, but who wouldn’t love either? Do you ever run into requests where you can’t make the blade choices work?
Thanks. I have the same issue when choosing a "favorite". Yes, sometimes it's like trying to build a puzzle from 4 different boxes. 😅 This silver build was a major pain. Trying to figure out which tools are compatible and which spring they will fit on. At one point, I wrote my client and told him we'd have to remove some tools, but finally figured it out.
I like bitg 😅 - the stainless gets the majority if it's cool points with the lighter, this is the first I've seen that before. I also like the Wenger options and the scales look cool with the hammered out look. As for the avid washed, the overall look is cool, and I'm a sucker for the dragonfly blade.
i really like the blacked out version. i’d probably pick black g10 liners because not a fan of carbon fiber pattern, which reminds me of pretend vinyl wrap that try to look like it’s a certain material and cheesey car interiors. black is black, but carbon fiber isn’t. the springs being replaceable is a plus and better rebound than level type springs. great work.
Amazing works of art! Not a fan of the roadie blade that huge gap when closed from being much shorter would spark lil OCD. Always wanted the wenger pliers an scissors till I felt how thin they feel. Always like to see the pruning an electrician blades.
I actually did some testing on Leatherman T-Shank. I wasn't able to implement it successfully in a 91mm. But, that was about 2 years ago, I should revisit the project.
@@FittoSurvive i was thinking something custom made specifically for victorinox, might be hard but with the proper tools it must come out great. I think something simple just a few metal sheets that can hold a tshank saw and secure that with a small screw
Honestly not a fan of the new pliers, the scissors are fine, but the way that wing bar wedges in between the handles.. eh. Also they got rid of the ferrule crimper as a result, but gained jaw-position options at least.
Acid etched is my favorite. Also I loved the subtle carbon fiber, that was a nice touch.
Blacked out always has the tacticool points. 😅 Agree about the carbon fiber.

True. Yes, the nail clippers are an implent from Wenger that Victorinox bought out. That's also why the nail clippers are 65mm.
I think swapping the liners - dark liners with light scales and vice versa would look pretty good.
Yeah, I understand what you mean. It'd help add some contrast to the builds.

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, it definitely makes the tool more effective.
Amazing! Such awesome modifications! I'm continually blown away by theese!
Glad you like them!
Truly lovely pieces...❤ Great work!👍👏
Thank you so much 😊

Thanks. It was quite the challenge to add them all.
Double Spyderco blades is cool for sure. 👍🏻😎
Very cool pieces! I dig the first one.
The scissors seem like a nice upgrade vs the normal spring style.
Great work again!
Thanks! Yeah, the scissors are pretty cool.
Тёмный смотрится шикарно . Я правда предпочёл бы чтобы он был в два раза длиннее и в два раза тоньше )
Спасибо! Да, довольно таки широкий вышел. 😅
I love these mods- I cant afford them, but I love them- I like the acid etch best, but I like the winger tools
Awesome! Glad to hear that!
Really nice mods as allways
Thanks a bunch! The Wenger mods have been on my list for a while.
Insane man! I love it! Awesome work.
Thanks a ton!
Excellent work, once again!
Thanks a bunch!
Sehr schön gemacht! 👍

Yeah, both have their pros for sure. The lighter really is a cool feature in the SAK.
wenger-tools seem to be sturdier than the vic-ones. love the lighter-version tbh
Yeah, the spring system is better thought out for sure.
Very nice job
Thanks for watching!

great work.
Thanks! I totally understand about the carbon fiber. I'm personally not a fan of the CF look either.
Two brilliant builds, great toolsets in each. It would be a really tough choice but the Dragonox slightly edges it for me.
Cheers 🍻
Thanks! Yeah, I totally understand your dilemma. 😅👍🏻
Wenger Tools looks nice.
Yeah, I was excited to finally finish that project.
Awesome!
Thanks!

Thanks! I see what you are talking about. 😅 👍🏻👍🏻
Looks good! I really like the double jointed Wenger pliers. Which backspring did you use for the the Wenger pliers and scissors?
Thanks! Yeah, the Wenger pliers really are handy. I used saw springs and the blade spring.
first one reminds me of the Wenger Porsche design
Sure enough. I see what you mean now.
Now I just need to find a Swiss/Camp Flame....somewhere.....
@@Montsombre 😅👍🏻 Not easy to do nowadays!
Superb work. Can any of these be purchased?
Any chance of you making a hand gun / SAK hybrid
I have a customer who is interested in something like that. But online... My official answer is nah... I'd never do something like that. 😉🤞🏻
у Феликса есть видео где он переделывает консервный нож. Получается что то вроде крюка - стропореза
Видел. У него много классных идеи. 👍🏻
Saw somone talking about the acid etch not being food safe, what are your thoughts on it?
My thoughts are that it would be fine. The acid is washed off very well and neutralized. But, I'd rather be safe than sick. 😋
Is there any way possible to implement a tshank saw/file holder onto a custom victorinox? Id buy it asap

how difficult is it to make these? im looking to make my own
These two builds were both quite complex. There are lots of simpler mods though that can be done.
The blackout one is great
Blackout always has the cool effect.
First 😅
P.S. They are gorgeous :)
@@aaronfinna Thanks! 👍🏻😎
I think small spyderco blade is too short for 91mm swiss army knives.
It'll looks better with 84 or maybe 65mm knives.
I completely understand what you are talking about. It looks like it needs a secondary tool opposite to it.
@@FittoSurvive you are right
