    The title of this video is pure BS. Needs to be updated. He didn't "waste" anything, The gang BS wasn't proven and was fabricated by Kelly, nor was he ever in trouble for anything. His play spoke for itself. He's Hall Of Fame material no question.

    Philly let Andy go because it was time. He had been there for over 10 years and was stuck in a rut that really required a new set of eyes to fix. We miss him and love him but it was time.

    • @carnacthemagnificent2498
      @carnacthemagnificent2498 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Andy's family was falling apart. He was starting to make inexplicable decisions like moving a really good O-Line coach to D-coordinator resulting in the worst defense in the league and losing games as if he was mailing it in. He needed a change of scenery, plain and simple. He got it and never looked back. By the way, it was a cordial split, Andy still advises the Eagles from time time to time, not the least of which was recommending they hire Doug Pederson who coached the team to a Super Bowl win.

    Easily the best deep ball specialist of his time. He should've swallowed his pride (instead of demanding a trade to a lesser team) when he was riding the bench during the Rams championship run back in the 2021 season. He still played though & was a decent contributor but only a shell of his former self, he did his part. He did have a solid career. Amazing how his dad envisioned everything right before our very eyes.

    They didnt fire Andy Reid, they released him because they felt he needed a change of scenery. Andy had gotten stale in Philadelphia.

    • @crittoneida958
      @crittoneida958 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Released" & "fired" are 2 different things? So are "let go" and "laid off" different from "fired" & released too?

    • @lifeoftoast1864
      @lifeoftoast1864 ปีที่แล้ว

      @crittoneida958 yeah there are different levels of leaving a job. Andy had a contract and he was released from his contract. I promise you, if he wanted to stay they would have kept him. This was a mutual agreement. Andy Ried wanted a change of scenery in a less volatile market. Our media was destroying him and calling for his head for atleast 3 years. But make no mistake that the Eagles organization wanted to retain him and they would have taken the bullet from the media. But he wanted a change and they honored that. Even leading up to his final season it was well known that he would be leaving. Thats why they formed the "dream team". It was supposed to be one final push to win the Superbowl with Andy. Thats just my perspective being an Eagles fan during that whole period and watching everything unfold. The Eagles organization has a ton of pride in Andy Reid. He is a legend and he was still coaching at a high level. But the market in Philly is extremely unforgiving. They won't tolerate several years in a row of barely making the playoffs like the Dallas franchise. They will come for your head and the fanbase will aswell.

    • @lifeoftoast1864
      @lifeoftoast1864 ปีที่แล้ว

      @crittoneida958 Think of Dawkins. Dawkins was a local hero. He may be the most famous Eagle in history. He spent his final seasons in Denver. Looking at it at face value you might think... "wow the really did him dirty by allowing him to walk". The problem is if you were around back then, you wouldnt know that the Eagles made Dawkins a very competative contract offer in the twilight of his career. He was in his mid thirties and was slowing down and they offered him a fair market deal. Dawkins is the one who chose Denver, largely because they were offering him a contract that would make him the highest paid safety in the league at like 35. The Eagles could not make that kind of bogus contract for him. So he took the money. At the time he was interviewed, getting on the plane to Denver for the first time. He was on the phone and he literally cried so hard he had to hang up the phone. Why would a man cry, and no be enraged at his former franchise for disrespecting him? It's cause they didn't disrespect him. He took the money and ran. The Eagles are an A+ organization. Super classy. Even the players who were disrespected like LeSean and DeSean ultimately love the organization. T.O.'s HOF team was the Eagles. They didn't do Andy dirty, they did him a favor.

    Amazing player, he had some really messed up views regarding Jewish people, but as a player he was very talented 👍

    Andy Reid got fired after the 2012 szn not 2013, Desean Jackson was under Chip Kelley in 2013 when he had his best year, Kelley was just dumb enough to get rid of him, great video but just make sure you are stating correct facts

    Sorry man but you messed up with 2013.
    Reid was fired after 2012, one of Jackson’s worst seasons and Chip was the coach in 2013, when jackson had his career best season.
