I have the S23 Ultra and the magic 5 pro and I just can't get over how much better the quality of the sensor is on the Honor. The 3x is really awful on Samsung and they haven't upgraded it in like 3 years or more! I just wish Honor would sort out the colour consistency on all the lens.
I tried the zoom past 10x to 30x samsung still wins😂. But u r right for the ultra wide samsung really needs to step up. Heard they r changing it next year to all 3x 50mps camera.
i like Honor, it's practically, you don't need to edit your photos, one shot easy way. And actually it has 3 different photo profiles but all Reviewer's use the default one, i talk about profiles not filter's and it's very useful and make a huge difference

Everyone wants to see a nice photo, not enlarge it on the monitor and find out who has which pixel better. And all mobile phone cameras are good for that in this category. If the photographer is good, he will learn his camera, its faults and its strengths and will shoot in such a way as to suppress the faults and highlight the strengths. That's a photo. As an old photographer once answered the question of which camera is the best - the one you have with you right now.

I think they are more similar in photo. Sensor of honor capture a little bit more light while Samsung is more better to rapresent realistically colors.

see you got bamboozled by the AI moon on the Honor, it even effed up the main crater at the bottom of the moon that you can still see in the galaxy shot. Over all still hard to justify to upgrade from my aging p30 pro

I moved from an S23 Ultra to to the Honor Magic 6 pro. I was disappointed. I have no idea how DXO always score Samsung devices so low. For the first few months the zoom lens on the Honor would produce washed out shots. Clearly a software issue. They finally fixed it. I'll definitely be going back to a Samsung next year though. My experiment with Honor is over.

Honor Magic 6 Pro camera has oversharpened and exaggerated microcontrast with plenty of fake bokeh, oversharpening was the issue the owners of S23Us blamed about in the past, S24U is better than S23U in that sense with less oversharpening... The mobile vendors know that most of the users know nothing about photography and they looks for the perception of detail even if the picture is crap like in all mobile phones, so they cheat and people are happy when they are cheated because of their ignorance.
I went with the Magic6 Pro in the last second. Superior camera quality and performance that dethroned the S24 Ultra in my eyes at least. And it trumps it in nightography.

I think they are more similar in photo. Sensor of honor capture a little bit more light while Samsung is more better to rapresent realistically colors.
