From finding priceless gold reserves together to doing business in millions, Todd Hoffman and Parker Schnabel were just two peas in a pod. But they never really got along and since the beginning of the show, their rivalry continued to get worse. Gold Rush is one of the most famous reality shows and Parker and Todd probably are the star cast of this show. So, their feud did help the show get a lot of ratings but it also resulted in the decline of Gold Rush.
The two did try to be a little friendly in the beginning of the show but things went straight downhill from this point onwards because the two weren’t ready to put their foot down in any matter and continued their rivalry till things got so bad that the producers had to do something shocking. Todd's ego couldn't stand the fact that he was being out performed by a teenager. Instead of learning from his mistakes he just kept making them.

Put up goals and fight to recive and then put up an absolute ludecris goal and promise for the next seaspn. Thats why i hope every episode that some big things brake down..

there were 2 members of the hoffman crew who definitely prefer parker, and they're chris and mitch. fair to say they've spent quite a bit longer for parker than todd now
to say that todd was successful and knew where the gold was in the first season was a joke when they mined a whopping 14 ounces. even towards the end of his gold rush days, he just never managed to get the best ground or mine the best dirt. they seemed to mine a lot of rubbish, especially when you compare what parker got out of little blue and especially big red compared to what todd managed
The biggest problem with Todd was he left the Klondike to go to Oregon and was not finding any in Oregon
