- My collection of Primus and Les Claypool albums. Includes all Primus albums, live performances, Les Claypool's side projects with Holy Mackeral and the Frog Brigade. 2 Les Claypool solo albums, his 1994 project Sausage, and his late 80's thrasher metal band Blind Illusion.

Nice collection; I've got most of those. The slip cover the brown album has is all torn up on my version now cause of age and handling it alot. Also, the first time I remember hearing Primus was "Jerry" on a local radio station back in early 2000s. Years later I actually got the same exact copy of that CD from the radio station when they closed down.

Bro has Primus live 2003/2004 de formage tour aaaaand Primus live 2004 cd 😎. I only have on and it’s the live at Philadelphia 11/15/03 cd and it on a occasion on eBay and I was the only one to win the occasion and I feel proud of myself 🎉

What album should I start with? I listen to music much weirder than primus so you can hit me with anything.
Richard Roberson I started with Pork Soda but wasn’t hooked. Then my dad got me the Claypool album Of Whales and Woe and I was hooked. Went to their earliest music and went from there. Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda I have the framed vinyl on my wall. I love Suck on This too tho

I’d say either Frizzle Fry, Sailing The Seas Of Cheese, or Pork Soda. Those three really capture the overall sound of Primus. You could also listen to Antipop and hear the basic sound of Primus.

the demo tape for primus was named sausage, that had all the old band members, which hints he name of les claypools side project sausage cause he came together again with the original members to play songs they used to play before primus was considered a band, had some early performances of songs that got put on albums later. green naugahyde is from 2011 and is primus

i know i have Green Naug
on my iPod...i know i had bought the physical copy right when it was released but I was living in a different state so i don't think i was able to put it with my collection...pretty sure its in a box somewhere around here lol
