You didn’t take the protective packaging non-woven material off the outside of the filter it’s a common mistake..go back and look at your old filter on the video at 2:12 then compare at 2:31
@@grahamherbert3612 I pointed this out to another YT Channel (Daniel&John) who had done the same thing, he didn’t believe me insisted he was right then banned me from the channel. At least this chap on here acknowledged the mistake 👍
I've worked on four vehicles that had the covers left on from factory. The only time I'd ever leave them on, would be an exposed filter on a Dirtbike.@@abcxyz2927
@@grahamherbert3612 I too had a service from a Vauxhall main dealership (sited outside the gates of the Vauxhall factory) and they left the packaging on!!! The problem is ..the thin non woven material looks like it’s filter material..it’s only when you look at other brands of filters you can see different types of packaging wrapped around the filter body
You are incorrect. The non-woven cloth is the pre-filter which is part of the new version of the filter, and shouldn't be removed. Refer to GM/Vauxhall/Opel part number 39030321 and the Mann-Filter pdf on this change: catalog.mann-filter.com/file/Product/MediaAssets/MFPI157_en_Replacement_of_C14013_by_C16012.pdf
Thank you for your Kind information. I apreciate
