Nift AD is a very chill and fun department. There is great scope since it includes product and jewellery both but don't completely depend on college placement

Also are PG fashion designing courses beneficial, do PG students get placements?

Fashion in both Mumbai and Delhi are good but I would prefer Mumbai. Pg students get better placement that UG most of the time but still it's less

FC faculty is good. They are very experienced and have really good connections.

I can't assure you but it's safe to sit for counselling rounds since you might get your desired nift campus by the end of the counselling. A friend of mine got nift del in the 7th round

Hey! Kolkata is very safe for single students trust me and the hostel is not inside the campus but it's quite close, around 2km from campus. The college bus picks and leaves the hostelites. Finding craft material is a task but you can get it with the help of seniors, localites or your batchmates

Yes the bus fee is added in the nift hostel fees. The faculty is really good and experienced. They are among the oldest nift alumnis and have good connections in the industry.
