What a amazing machine! As soon as the hunter was released I said It needs the 500 engine or a 650 version. My favourite RE & the bear. Much love from england 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

Thanks for the update on this bike. The 500 kit should be a good seller. Take care Fuzzy

I'm not sure if their intention is to sell the 500 kit. I think it's more of a fun bike 🙂

Wahoo! Thanks for the shout out Fuzzy! In just about 3 weeks I'll be installing the Kent cam and 410 kit (that uses a Himalayan piston) on my Classic 350 like you mentioned. Im hoping that can make the bike just kiss the Ton. We'll see 😊 That'll be able i break her back in and doing some tuning.

I remember that road! Lovely to ride on. That exhaust note sounds so good! I love these Baxter Customs, so creative! The cutting out is indeed the speed control put in by RE. 🙄

I love the changes Baxter’s made to the lil Hunter 350. It’s a sexy beast now!
Once they sort out the speedo and fueling that bike will give someone tons of fun.

It's going to be a real fun one in The dirt 2 🙂

The site of the biggest train robbery here in England (in the 1960s) is marked on Google Maps, but there's no monument to it. You may have heard of Ronnie Biggs who fled to Brazil and lived the high life until the money ran out. That railway is still very much running, it's Britain's main mainline.

Your speedometer problem I've had before. I put a speedo drd on my 09 750 shadow and I had the unit mounted too close to the spark plug wire and it caused interference where the speedo would quit working just like that. I moved it and no more problems.

Can this big bore kit be added to the classic 350?

    • @thegilamonsterrides

Yes it can. I'm putting the 410 version on my Classic 350 next month.

I guess the question becomes, is the all in price for the bike and the build worth what you're spending vs a different makers bike that may offer more for the same money.

    • @thegilamonsterrides
      @thegilamonsterrides 20 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

@@troys286 I think that depends on your interests, likes, and expectations. If "the other bike" is something you like just as much then the extra money in customizing or performance parts may not be worth it. However if you like a particular bike for whatever reason and don't chronically sell your bikes, then I think it's totally worth it. I'm heavily modifying my Classic 350 like Fuzzy mentioned, but to me there's nothing else on the market like a Classic 350, not really. So for me, it's just investing and enhancing the bike I love. By the time I'm done with Project Francine I probably could have bought a recently made Triumph T100 with low miles, but it (the T100) wouldn't be the bike I'm creating.

@thegilamonsterrides Great Fortune with the upgrade.
I would like to see these new electric flying flea reviews and I seen on the RE site a 250cc is supposed to arrive on the scene in 2026 into 2027.
I would not be surprised to see them dabble past the 650cc into the 700cc as they had in the past.
Their marketing strategy has captured the 350cc-650cc market.
