Aerosmith - Just Push Play. Metallica - St. Anger. The Darkness second album. Iron Maiden - No Prayer For The Dying. Kings Of Leon - Come Around Sundown
Great episode! I pretty much agree with everything you guys said. 👍 I would add Billie Ellish’s latest on vinyl. The mastering is horrible and, unless you’re a hardcore fan, it isn’t worth picking up.
Like I said in the video, I think the songs are good, I just hate how it’s mixed. I think had it been mixed similar to Battle at Gardens Gate I think it would have been a far better album. I’d love to hear the new album live.
At the time of its release, The Final Cut by Pink Floyd, coming off the iconic album The Wall. The Final Cut was a wtf moment 🤣 Even now I listen to it on occasion but it's still not great!
I agree with all of these except storm front. I’m biased though and nostalgia definitely plays a factor because my family loves Billy Joel and my grandfather especially used to play this entire album out on his boat!
Jeez. I love smells like children. But I’m a massive MM fan. Love the remixes and their covers of the Patti Smith song and “I put a spell on you”. Sweet Dreams is my least favourite track on there but I still like it. All the crazy interludes I love. Such a trippy album. It’s a good transitional album from portrait to Antichrist superstar. They were also heavily into experimenting with drugs at the time so that’s probably why it’s so psychedelic and trippy. Anyways. Just my opinion. Love it.
Maybe that’s why I see it as a disappointing album, because I compare it to the albums that came before and after it. I’m not a big Manson fan but I’ve loved Antichrist Superstar since the first time I heard it.
I almost mentioned Adele 30, but I think 25 might have been even more disappointing compared to her first two albums. Both 19 and 21 were fantastic albums.
I liked their first couple of albums, but as the band transitioned to basically a Brenden Urie solo project their music got more and more generic and poppier. Even with that I wasn’t expecting their last album to be a flaming pile of garbage. 😂

Completely agree. I Go To Extremes and Leningrad are so good.

Adele - 30
Queensryche - Dedicated to Chaos
Aerosmith - Music from Another Dimension!

@@TheVinylDen I think there was such buildup for 25 after the massive success of 21 that it had no chance but to disappoint.
Guns and Roses - Chinese Democracy
Van Halen - III
Agree on that MM EP
Panic at the Disco is just bad, all the albums are very mediocre, I gave it a lot of tries and I just don’t get it.

Best vids are dissing vids yeah get the gripes out like " they make sounds wish they wouldn't"
Queensryche Mindcrime 2
