    Such an amazing lecture from the Sheikh.
    My opinion on this matter is, being environmental friendly sounds to me like a very ideal Islamic way of living. A lifestyle that makes you among the one with good Akhlaq. Ofcourse I am not talking about the ones with extreme left ideologies, like vegans holding protest in-front of restaurants etc.
    But overall, a person who doesn't waste, doesn't buy unnecessary items to just throw away with using them, a person who is not carelessly being destructive, being kind to animals, these actions clearly should buy you extra points. This almost feels like a common sense to me if you look into Islam beyond just your daily ritual of salat etc.
    These are good actions but like Sheikh said, you don't answer just the bonus questions in your exam and think that you will pass with A grade. You need to answer the mandatory questions first. And we should strive to get the bonus for our own sake. Extra points never hurt.

    Easiest way to combat climate change is to plant trees. This is what our prophet (pub) suggested us to do!!

    Allah says in the Quran: ((Have they not seen that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? And Allah decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in account.))

    It's all so confusing. As for the meat issue, if baby chicks are having their necks broken solely because they're not growing quickly enough to be profitable then why even have an argument as to wether it's halaal to cut the neck and haraam to stun the profitable ones? Don't we halaal the animal a certain way to ensure the least amount of suffering? But in order to halaal the profitable ones we are allowed to do whatever with the unprofitable ones? That doesn't make any sense.
    Second the issue of global warming. Wouldn't it be nice if as Muslims we can be at the forefront of something that helps humanity for a change? How great would it be for our religion and getting people interested in Islam. Instead of depending on Christians and atheists to lead the way ALL the time and we're left just having to benefit from their progress?

      Poor treatment on animal is still not the ultimate guideline of what make it halal or haram. A treatment of animal and condition of slaughter is separate issue. We can boycott that farm for poor treatment of animal, but it still not make it haram to consume if the slaughter done right.

    • @bradsuarez2683
      @bradsuarez2683 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FnD4212 Brother or sister answer me this question..... why do we halaal an animal before consumption? How can it ever be separate issues when we halaal one animal to prevent excessive suffering but break the neck of another and leave it to suffer and die all in the name of profitability?

    • @FnD4212
      @FnD4212 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bradsuarez2683What make it halal for consumption: is animal that God and His messenger guide us and what we have to say when we slaughter it. That's it.
      We do not apply original sin concept here. The ACT of poor treatment on animals is already haram and sinful to begin with. But the burden of sin (poor treatment) will not carry on to meat of slaughtering animal. It will be debatable if someone who do poor treatment and slaughtering is the same person, but what if someone who do slaughtering is righteous person? Their are completely under different division and does not involve with farm at all?
      Emotional judgement does not change the hukm. Don't make same mistake as People of the Book, they make haram of what God have make halal for them and vice versa.
      Preach for good treatment of farm animal. I'm sure all Muslims would agree with you, as it is commandment from God. But it does not change the hukm of what make halal for us.

      Just go ask your local sheikh or imam @brad suarez. Don't get your Islamic questions answered from a youtube comments section. Just go ask your local imam.

    the topic is again linked to gog and magog and Dajjal's technological revolution.and you can not explain global warming without that ...pls dont run away from this subject

    • @iznij3284
      @iznij3284 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Neither gog and magog are under the ability to control by humans and neither is dajjal, Isa(pbuh) is the only one who can kill dajjal and no human including Isa (pbuh) can do anything or kill gog and magog, so what is there to run away from it? We can only do what our capacity permits. Talking about it is not doing anything, address the present issues not future.

      @@farhanalam-only no it's not, evil is manifested by humans, when they sin, act ignorant to injustices, do haram is when calamities and plagues occur, as a trial, punishment or mercy. It has nothing to do with gog magog, as they won't be out till end of times and will annihilate muslims non-Muslims just the same. As for dajjal no one is sure yet, so everything is merely speculation and opinions.
