i recommend my love mix-up and the drama too. it’s a perfect mix of comedy and romance. also, please continue to read sasaki to miyano! it picks up the pace n i really love where it’s heading. these two series are so wholesome n some of my favorites :D!
I love I hear the sunspot so much, it was also one of my first ever bl’s and it’s so amazing! The angst definitely got me a couple times though lol. It’s gotta be one of my favorite series ever! Also, “The (pet) detective agency” and “Puppy love” are also some really good bl one shots! :D
I cannot reach you definitely is worth it. It's a slow burn for sure, but it's finally getting somewhere and it makes it feel like the wait was worth it
@sleepymishvlogs It's definitely still a work in progress but I like where the story is heading. Also I read Therepy Game because of your and everyone else's reccomendation and it was fantastic. Wish we got an epilogue with them later on in life kind of like Fruits Basket, that would be nice ☺️ But I really was surprised by the premise. Being a bisexual guy myself it really hit home on all the issues and insecurities about it you seem to run into regardless of the gender you date lol, and Japan is pretty conservative so it's rare to see a story with such genuine understanding. I'm definitely going to go through your other top picks so thanks for the good reccomends ✌️💜

I am building up by BL collection of manga....some of mine include, Classmates, I Heart the Sunspot, The Other Worlds Books Depends on the Bean Counter (my copy of vol 3 just arrived today!), Ten Count, Liquor and Cigarettes, Seven Days, Links, New York, New York, Finder, Ai no Kusabi short novels, Hyperventilation, The Flower that seems to truly dance, Our Dining Table, Love is an illusion, Coyote, Birds of Shangri La, and a few older ones such as Wild Rock, Shinobu Kokoro, Sensitive P***graph, A Foreign Love Affair....there are so many more that I want to buy!!! Like, Yuri on Ice is one of my favourite anime series...I wish it had a manga series...I know its not technically a BL but, Yuri and Victor do get together in the anime....
Cherry magic has an anime now and it's so good! I recommend continuing I Cannot Reach You... a lot more happens in volume 3, I think you'll like it more than vol 2. It also has a live action now which I really enjoyed! I won't deny that Given is good because it really is, but the tragic backstory was just a bit too upsetting for me and whenever I think back on the series, it kind of overshadows everything else :'(
I have the Cherry Magic anime on my watchlist! I will continue I Cannot Reach You at later point in time :) I’ve heard similar opinions about Given, and I think they’re valid. I mostly love it for the music aspect, but I’ve read some sadder series, so in comparison, it wasn’t too much for me lol

Nice video. I’d recommend you add No touching at all to your collection. It’s a one shot manga and even got adapted into a movie. Movie should be here on TH-cam for free.
I cannot Reach You is the worst manga for those who like sweet confession scenes. The misunderstandings and lack of confidence of both protagonists makes for such a slow and frustrating plot, that I cried in joy just from the scene when they finally clear all of the misunderstandings by having the talk they were so scared of. And even then they still have not become a couple

fair opinion :) some people like slowburns, but that might be why i put this series on pause for awhile. thanks for the comment!
