Loved this video! The shout out for Blood On The Tracks just made my day! The idea of organizing your collection by abc order is interesting and I don't think I've ever seen someone do that.
Also the way you explaind Dr. Stone made me laugh way harder than it should've!
Lastly, the LED lights are interesting and they make your shelves pop more with the black bookshelf. I'm not sure how those would look with my white shelves though.

I mean, it's the simplest way to explain it since most people will know Bill Nye and have at least heard of ARK 😂.
It'd probably look good with some of the other colors, like red and blue, but I'm not sure about white 🤔. It might be worth checking with some other manga collectors, like on reddit, to see how it looks with their lights on white shelves.

Komi Can’t Communicate is one of my favourite mangas. As someone with (SAD) Social Anxiety Disorder, I can relate. Not to the crippling point but I can relate. I don’t like talking to people I don’t like being around people. I’m a good listener.
The first volume may not have been my cup of tea, but I'm glad you found enjoyment in it.

Very nice collection. I think it's kind of funny that you mentioned that you prefer slice of life and don't really read action stuff as much but most of your collection is big name action series. I used to organize my shelf alphabetically too and I've found with manga that I don't really need to do that because each series' volumes are so often uniquely designed that I can just pick them out that way faster than going through the ABCs. It's not always the case though since some volumes I have by the same mangaka are similar in their appearance.

yo you try to avoid creases or dents in your paperbacks by placing them horizontally on top of eachother or vertically (without showcasing the front covers), amazing collection by the way, keep up the good work!

I appreciate that you're honest when you don't enjoy something. Others will pretend they fully enjoyed everything in their collection and every series is a masterpiece or something. Kaiji and Vinland Saga are the best series in your collection imo.
kaiji is one of my favorites, def worth the read and the anime is even more epic imo

A lot of people save money by reading the first 3 volumes or a few chapters of manga online. It's how I decided I was not going to collect Kommi can't communicate. A lot of reviews help me decide to gather a series as well.
I use subscription services like Shonen Jump and Viz to read series but I don't like to pirate series since I want to support the industry. I don't mean to bash anyone who pirates especially series that aren't officially translated, it's just something I choose to avoid. Reviews are also helpful, but I still like to give series a try because even though those people didn't like it, there's a chance that I might enjoy it and vice-versa.

You don't need a lot of money to build a collection like mine; just have patience and keep your eyes peeled for deals on websites like Rightstuf, Books-A-Million, and Barnes and Noble.
My favorite thing about your shelves is that you don’t put an abundant amount of figures in front of the manga. More accessible.
I recommend you to read some kentaro miura or naoki urasawa works they're really good
Nice video 😊. If you're curious, the mangas that I'm trying to complete currently are naruto 3in1, boruto, my love story and sekirei. Sekirei is the hardest to complete 😢

@@lantztalksmanga so far, I collected the first 12 vol for the naruto 3in1, this is the sixth 3in1 series by viz media that I'm collecting 😋. I have not read them yet, mostly because I'm reading the one piece 3in1 first. As for sekirei, to put it bluntly, it an all female battle royale manga. I'm just one vol short to completing it 😔😔😔
@isaacherrera4857 Nice! One Piece is another series I want to collect in the 3-in-1 format, but the length of the series (even in the 3-in-1s) doesn't make me rush to go pick it up. Sekirei sounds interesting! I hope you can find that last volume for a good deal.
I just watched some of Dr Stone anime! I really want to collect the manga. I’m deciding between reading on Shonen Jump app or collecting hard copies. I may read on the app while I slowly collect hard copies of my favorite manga series
I'd personally read it on the app first before dedicating a lot of money for the physicals since I've heard the ending is a bit divisive (although I have yet to read the ending for myself).

Hey man i haven't watched the whole video yet so you might already have or do some of these things but if you enjoy series such as classroom of the elite I would recommend reading the LN over the manga. I saw the part where you said you got the manga and enjoying it so far (which is completely fine taste is subjective) but i would like to say that the Ln is very much like the anime where ayanokoji is much more emotionless and true to his character whereas the manga changes his character to be sort of like a regular human.- i think the Ln is much more up to date physically ,currently on year2 vol 5 or something
-I think you should watch/read kurokos basketball also, i know you said teamwork sports anime isn't really your thing but i personally love the dynamic of the characters in the show and even though the main team does have that 'teamwork' trope the opposing teams are very much the opposite

Thank you so much! I do plan on getting the light novels eventually; I just went with the manga first since it tends to be my preferred medium when trying out a new series. I do like the colder version of Ayanakoji more than the manga version, but I don't hate that interpretation of the character.
I'll add Kuroko to my TBR list! I don't hate the teamwork trope; I just think Blue Lock going against it is a breath of fresh air for me personally. Thanks for watching and for the recommendation!
np np.i get you with the wanting to try the manga before getting LN's because manga are way easier to read and takes like 10 times less time to get through 1 volume but once you get a series you like reading so much wont be too much of a problem.
I would personally tryout the anime of Kurokos before the manga as the manga is around the same length as vinland saga(in terms of omnibus volumes i think)and i personally prefer the anime over the manga but both are good and its all day to your preference at the end of the day

is it okay to put lights to your display? like it wont affect the appearance of the manga?
The lights would only affect the manga if you had them on 24/7. I only turn them on when I'm recording a video or showing my collection to someone. So, it has no real affect compared to regular light exposure.
Kaguya love is war is a super fun series. I love the anime (specifically the English dub) way more than the manga though, I'd recommend checking that out instead

Nope. I've been meaning to start Monster and 20th Century Boys, but my local bookstore never has the first volume in stock.
Goodnight Punpun is so depressing. I felt insane after reading that.

Didn't have much because I've recently start to collect manga
1. Chainsaw man 1 to 11 vols.
2. D-Grag man vol 1 omnibus.
3. Ajin demi human vol 1,2.
4. Dandadan vol 1,2.
Any recommendations?
I'm going to assume you've enjoyed Chainsaw Man and Dandadan, and if that's the case, I'm going to also assume you like fast-paced action series. There's a few series that come to mind with those factors, the first being Jujutsu Kaisen. The series follows Yuji Itadori as he joins a school for sorcerers that fight curses (pretty much the devil equivalent of CSM). It's high action, high octane, and usually people who like one series end up liking the other.
The second fast-paced action series that comes to mind is Hell's Paradise. A group of criminals who are serving life sentences are sent to an island where they must find the elixir of immortality in exchange for a pardon that would set them free. There's only one pardon, so not only do the criminals have to survive the dangers of the island, but they also have to survive against one another.
The last fast-paced action series I would recommend is One Punch Man. It's a superhero series that follows a guy named Saitama, who can defeat things with one punch. And despite how anticlimactic the fights may sound since he's pretty OP, they make up for it with comedic moments and other characters that add more human moments to the superhero world.
I'd also recommend Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura. It's my personal favorite manga and is considered to be one of the best seinen series out there. It's a story about Vikings that mixes real-life history with fantastical storylines. It is slower-paced than CSM, but it more than makes up for it with great character moments.
@@lantztalksmanga yeah I've enjoyed CSM and dandadan but i really like dandadan it had some weird but wholesome moments and the comedy is good I laughed reading this but I'm really really really really into dark fantasy manga such as berserk, Claymore, Gantz etc.... I've read them online. Any dark fantasy manga you would recommend?. Btw I've watch and read jjk and Hell's paradise and i really loved vinland saga I've completed season 1. D-gray man is good to but it's extremely slow pace but the art style and the character are good but the only prob is that it's take so much time to build the story (talking about vol 1 omnibus) but it's a good manga.. Same with Ajin it's takes some time to uplift the story but i really enjoy Ajin it's a good read.
@@7ACELEGACY I personally haven't read a whole lot of dark fantasy series, but I've heard a lot of great things about Dorohedoro. I have yet to read it for myself, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt, but a lot of other mangatubers sing its praises.
