Thank you for this podcast along with joe weller the content you put out really has helped me deal with my brother passing and just mental shit but thanks for the great content
Great interview, Weller is such a humble and see's things from a really refreshing perspective. But I wish he had some self belief and realize his Waffling podcast is exactly what/all we need from him now!
I also have Health Anxiety, which stemmed from me having cancer at 22 years old when my daughter was 3 months old. I feel for you, its an awful thing to have and was brave of you to talk about it xxx absolutely brilliant pod and loved the longer format xxx
Noncey burner I think he’s an awesome guy though. And after hearing him talk about how he was at the worse place regarding his mental health during the time that boxing video occurred, I kinda get why it happened.
From what I’ve seen so far Jack is telling Joe what we all think as fans. We don’t need 2016 Joe Weller. Joe is naturally funny, he doesn’t need to try hard to be funny.
The real ones know that Joe is the goat. The man straight up tells the truth and doesn't portray a fake life style like most, he will tell you about his mental health he will tell you that not everything that glitters is gold. A true role model to young males. Long live Weller.
Exactly I do t hate ksi but he is really fake he wears a durag and talks like a roadman bit he went to a private school he’s trying to be someone he’s not
I think the fact Joe talks so openly about mental health is so important. It could mean 2 young lads, who don't talk about their feelings and insecurities because it's not "cool", might be watching and look at each other and go "You know what mate, I feel like that sometimes. Can I talk to you about it?" And since they've seen someone they think is cool, and that he doesn't get the piss taken out of him for talking about it, they can start that conversation.
This is the definition of a quality podcast, because it has respectable people involved and is just very well done. Massive Joe and Jack fan, so this podcast is sick 🙌🏼
favourite part of the pod is when Jack goes "thats enough of that silly shit" and joe shuts him down. Trying to make Jack feel more comfortable about talking about that shit and make him feel like its normal and mature. Joe weller is class
Never have I actively gone out and tried to give Joe Weller a chance and watched him. This podcast single handedly has taught me to not judge, realise that people can change and that Joe genuinely cares about Jack's mental health. The way he was asking him and trying to persuade him to seek out therapy made me quite emotional. It's good and refreshing to see males be OK with their feelings, emotions, depression, anxiety, mental health. Thanks for this episode.
Wow. Those last few minutes for me were fantastic, in the sense that Jack opened up about his own mental issues in away that I hadn’t seen before and I think that could be down to Joe encouraging him to talk about it which was amazing to see. You can see that they have a really great connection and I would love to see more videos of them together hopefully creating a great friendship 👌🏻👌🏻
Joe should come on as a guest again, now that all the drama from boxing and that stuff is history. Would be so cool to hear stories from his trips to the Amazon and all around the world that didn’t make it into his videos.
What I've always loved about Joe is how he has openly explained how he feels about uploading/mental health etc in such an elaborate but also an engaging way, like he speaks to his audience about himself but almost invites you to join the conversation somehow. I felt that Jack really resonated with this, like the understanding was so strong that Jack himself could do the same. They both give off that 'I don't mind cause I trust my community' vibe when they do so and its really nice to see. Well done to both of you and keep it up, talking ALWAYS helps!
I love that Joe is so lovely and accepting of everyone's issues that Jack could open up about his anxiety despite the fact it was his first time meeting him. Big respect to Joe
One of the best podcasts around. Helps that Jack, Joe and Stevie are just normally people you’d go for a pint with and chat absolute shite with all night
Huge respects to Jack for just talking about his OCD. It's a disorder in which most people feel like they have to just deal with it themselves but should definitely be helped with. I'm no expert but i can imagine just talking about these things can help calm it down.
Great to see two young inspirations who made us laugh back in the day transform and mature through their careers (while still being authentic and funny)!

Hi Jack, Just wanted to say thank you so much for opening up and talking about OCD, I also have had OCD from a young age where I used to be terrified of the rain and natural disasters it used to effect me a lot from primary school though to secondary where every time it would rain I thought me and everyone else was going to suddenly die which used to cause extreme panic attacks I used to have a 40 minute routine before bed where I would have to touch things a certain amount of times, close cupboards a certain way, check the news 10 times just before I could sleep me, my school and family never knew what it was until I was diagnosed with OCD. now I am 20 I have learnt to deal with it a lot better and I am completely fine with the rain and natural disasters and although it took me years to overcome and those horrible intrusive thoughts which changed a lot before it got better. it is now at a point where it is under control and I have learnt with help how to keep those thoughts out of my head. Thank you so much for talking about OCD as it is so important for people to understand how complex it can be and this is the first time I have commented on a video about my own OCD,
I'm so happy Joe talked about the caffeine addiction, I was the exact same in 6th form, I hated it so much and was so stressed that I got attached to it, and it's crazy, cos noone thinks it's a problem, so you can have this dependency in front of everyone and they just think it's fine. Thought it was just me, cheers lad.
Around the 19:00 mark, tell Joe that the wafflin' audience IS in his main channel. So instead of trying to cater his main channel audience, he can film main channel content however cater it to the wafflin' audience so that he is more comfortable if that makes sense - because the wafflin' audience IS in his main channel as well
I really respect Jack for opening up about his OCD. As someone who’s diagnosed with OCD I appreciate how hard it can be to open up about, especially when it comes to extreme experiences with intrusive thoughts.
this is my favourite episode of any podcast ever. joe weller is my favourite content creator and internet personality, he's so raw and open but also has a lot of charisma. started watching in my teens and i feel like he's grown with his audience quite naturally despite how he feels. here's what i think joe should do - firstly, carry on with wafflin. joe thrives in conversation and i love to see him ask weird questions and speculate about things and people on his podcast. i also think that he should do more long-term projects for his main channel, joe is very good at analysing current affairs on youtube and connecting with other youtubers so it would be so cool to see him do some documentaries on other youtubers or something, kinda like shane dawson but i feel like joe's ones would be way more authentic. just an idea
I love happy hour. It just feels like a group of mates having a conversation. Nothing fake or over dramatic just natural and no cuts. Thanks for the content lads. 🙏
It’s actually so nice hearing jack talk about his issues cuz like I’m exactly the same different trigger for it but I’ve got that and it nice to hear someone else talk about it
Genuinely think this might be my favourite episode , it was really nice seeing you able to open up Jack and i hope you know that were all here for you ❤❤❤
I've been watching both you and Joe for years now, literally grown up with you (I'm 28) - and I know how patronising this sounds and I really don't mean it to, but I am so proud of both of you for speaking so openly and honestly about what you both have and still go through. It takes a lot to do it and I just wanted to say that I think you're both genuinely top lads and I'm this was literally the first ever podcast I've sat the whole way through. Loved the honesty and organic flow of conversation between you both. Well done Jack!
That was probably the best episode I’ve ever watched. Joe is a proper down to earth lad, I really appreciated his thoughts and opinions on all the topics covered and I genuinely wish him nothing but success, but more importantly I wish inner peace in terms of mental health - same goes for JaackMate. I suffer with health anxiety myself and it was really quite therapeutic listening to you all talk about these issues, it genuinely felt like a therapy session. TOP TOP episode well done lads 👌🏽
Don’t usually watch podcasts but watched this all the way through, great chemistry between you all and at the end Joe was super supportive of Jack and may have even encouraged me to see a doctor myself 😂
One of my favourite podcasts. Joe seems like a genuinely good lad. But when jack talked about health anxiety I related so much because I have the same issue. Joes response has made me want to go get it fixed now. Thanks all 3 of you
I'm so late to watching this but wow jack, your talk of OCD was amazing and as someone who suffers from it, it's so nice seeing a Internet celebrity talk about and you clearly understand it so much. most people see it as the stereotype of being organised or clean but it's so much more than that and you explain it so well. I'm so glad and i can't thank you enough for spreading so much awareness of it! much love
Jack. I noticed during the end you talked about having health anxiety. This is something that has now while watching this given me clarity as to what i have been feeling for the past year or so. How do you cope with this as i totally relate to the feeling of being convinced youre going to die, thought it was just me but clearly im not alone, anyone else who sees this any help would be massively appreciated x
Go see a therapist if you’re struggling to cope with it yourself. If, like Jack, you know deep down that the stuff you’re thinking doesn’t make any sense then there’s going to be a way to treat it and that’s what mental health professionals are there for. However that’s not to say you can’t tackle it yourself, because recognising and understanding the way you feel is key, and will allow you to see from a more positive and hopeful perspective
Bloody hell he's a wise guy! Young but a good head on his shoulders. LOVED the longer episode too. I'd like more biggies if they're as compelling as this. Nice one, Jack!
