Just made this used chicken with the shrimp. Could not find the lobster base so, I washed the shrimp shells and cooked them in a little water. Poured the water into the pink sauce. The pink is so delicious. Thank you. This will definitely be a regular dish.
I made this today. Also added bay scallops. Was really good. Made the exact amount of filling for 1 box of shells luckily. Huge pan of them and several portions now going into freezer.

You look like you have been cooking for a long time and i love that you love cooking h3althy food cause thats the way i.cook and bake. Your great.
I have one suggestion: when you made your sauce, I would recommend cutting shrimp heads down the middle and using that to help build the sauce. Shrimp heads, especially the ones that have that red nugget (which are the precursors of their eggs if I remember correctly) are rich in flavor, and it really helps build up the umami of the sauce. The heads can be scooped out after building the sauce. This is highly worth doing IMHO.

Should of had a ricotta cheese blend stired in with seafood before stuffing, with parsley. would have benn a much creamier dish, then you could do away with alot of the parm and sodium. Nice recipe though
