    Get a center kickstand and start it like a motorcycle. I have one like this and it works great. Get everything really straight and aligned. Thanks for the video!

    Check your high gear stop screw adjustment, ( on the bike shamono ) the torque of the motor maybe causing the chain to jump track. Also, I noticed that your shifts to a lower gear could be improved by getting the RPM's up quite substantially before shifting , looks like the bike can really go! Be safe, great job.

    I would recommend letting of the throttle a bit when shifting as to not put too much stress on your rear derailleur

    • @barriosbuilds7688

      Honestly I would, because in the video I was just bang shifting and it’s hard on the bike and caused the chain to fall off more frequently.

    Good night. It would be great if we had these two engine mounts that hold the shaft that transfers the force to the other side. Like, they contoured on some A4 sheets, each support on a sheet, for pdf so we can make our own supports. Think about the partner idea. It would help us a lot in the shaft adaptation process. Thanks for the attention.

    any transmission or anything not in direct drive with the engine will rob power from the engine. having multiple sprockets and chains ,imo , robs more engine power than a cvt style setup. i think a 2 speed setup would be dope. than u could have bigger chains and sprockets, and need less of them. them bicycle chains and thin sprockets that came on the bike are insufficient. cool video dude , kudos . stay dafe out there 🤙

    It probably doesn’t matter now - But- it is pretty necessary for a 2 stroke engine to hav an air filter on it 2 havin’ it run rite. . . Good Show - I’ll b using some of your method for my build. Thanks.

      I always run an air filter mainly because I do some trail riding and that dust can get into the carb and not be good. So I tune the carb to work with an air filter.

      One good run, and it was a good one. Probably the most fun I’ve had in one of these bikes. But after that the chain popped(master link broke) and could never get it setup again. I have videos on it about why I took it off. I just believe it’s more reliable without the jack shaft. But if you can get it working “reliably” that’s just awesome!!!

      @@barriosbuilds7688 I'd really love to get the nitrous kit but you can't get the cartridges filled when they're empty you have to buy another kit and that's ridiculous. I have my new bike with the phantom 85 and my spare bike with the zeda 80 and I'm thinking about selling the zeda 80 engine and getting the yd100 so I have the two biggest engines on my two bikes lol. The zeda 80 has all the performance parts. High performance head, exhaust, windowed piston and reed valve and it's barely broken in so if you know anyone looking let me know. If I can find a bike at a yard sale or something I'll put it on so I have a whole bike to sell

    Have you been able to get this bike to be reliable? I haven't seen any body have much success in awhile with one of those jack shaft kits. A couple years ago I saw someone put one of the kits sold by sick bike parts on a specialized mountain bike. The build looked sick, the guy was hitting mid-forties with no problem. But that's the only one I've really ever seen work well. Was wondering if there's maybe some reliability issues with all those moving parts.

    • @Ilikedahrice
      @Ilikedahrice 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really if you put the parts right without spamming it with chain tensioners. Really reliable. The biggest issue might be the stock bike chain and masterlink, its not strong enough so you need a high-quality one. that's about it

    • @barriosbuilds7688
      @barriosbuilds7688  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because the shifter on the left side of the bike is the crank gear shifter you can shift up to three gears on a stock bike. But with that jackshaft kit it required you to replace that entire unit making the factory shifter useless…. And I kinda liked swing the numbers anyway.
