Reconstructing My Dad's JVC HiFi

My ongoing project to reconstruct my Dad's JVC HiFi system from the 80s progressed a little further yesterday when I picked up a pair of JS50 speakers and a JR-S50 receiver from a local seller on Gumtree.
The receiver isn't the same model originally from this system. That one, an R-S7, is still with Mum, as are the original speakers. The speakers I picked up yesterday are the same model though and I got the receiver in this video with the speakers.
The Akai 4000DS Mk2 open reel deck was never in Dad's system but it is the first open reel deck I used back in the 80s.
