Only just recently discovered this incredible slice of musical pie. From 1996 and its light-years ahead of most modern day electronic music. If only more artists today tried to be as innovative as Orbital were back in the day. Awesome.
I discovered them in a time when I was down and struggling to get to know myself. Listening to their tracks always gave me a sense that I was not alone.
Wonderful record. Just tried "liking" Orbital on my bookface to ask if they were voting green... didn't have the opportunity to do pose the question. Shame.
@@ryokubudo Someone already replied to me with that answer 5 years ago.!Goldfrapp did vocals on Sad But New. But the vocals on this track are actually *sampled* rather than recorded for this track. They are sampled from someone else. Paul Hartnoll asked people on twitter (6 years ago) to guess where they were sampled from.He didn't give the answer but made clear it's not Alison Goldfrapp.

I found this years ago at a thrift store as one of the tracks on a bonus CD for In Sides. I still love both versions of this song.

Another overshot. Damn. If this song was a girl, she'd be preggers by now...
Who's the vocal sample?
Think it's Goldfrapp
Allison Goldfrapp
