Extremely hilarious. I think with Olympus and Sony you are spot on. Fujifilm doesn’t understand to differentiate face detect from foliage. Actually Lumix GM5 face detection works very well. Not sure about video. What is video? Hahahahaha 😅

K.I.S.S. - I bought an X-S10, XC 35, XC 15-45 and XC 50-230, all in used 9/10 condition for $1350 total. I’ve never been happier with my camera gear and the results I get from it. The setup is feather light, the autofocus is quick and accurate, the IBIS and OIS are rock solid steady, and the images are absolutely gorgeous in JPEG, straight out of camera.
I almost got the XS-10. I think it is an underrated camera. I think I'd buy one over the XH2s.

@@denis5850 Yep. The worst I’ll see is around 85-90% hit rate when shooting fast moving animals and cars but I get 100% more frequently, and of course 100% on stationary subjects. Can’t ask for much better than that from a $1000 camera and $200 lenses.
With 8fps in mechanical shutter and up to 30fps with the electronic shutter, I’ve never had an issue getting plenty of razor sharp focused images on moving targets. People forget that their camera has many more focus modes than just subject tracking. I usually stay in zone focus or regular ol’ single point with pre-focus enabled and I rarely miss little critters as they scamper about in the woods, even at 230mm.

I had a chat with some Panasonic ambassadors and they are well aware of the critique regarding the AF system. They are going to act, presumably Q3 or Q4 of 2023.
@@dawuddawid I have heard the rumors and even got some hints from Lumix Ambassadors. I was going to sell my S1H but I have decided to keep it...even if/when Panasonic releases new cameras. It has served me very well

I'm surprised there wasn't a bit of Canon explaining how nobody wants to see DPAF and a mic jack in the G7X series. There's no demand for a dad cam with good AF, nice preamps, built in ND, reasonable digital stabe, and a nice zoom range. Nobody could handle all that responsibility.
Or Fujifilm not wanting to make an ultra wide, because it just lets in too much reality, man. The vibrance is in the details, man.
