- Whats Up Everybody, Welcome Back!
This ride was SENSATIONAL, after many attempts trying to tee up a ride it finally happened, Kate Bell (AKA The Courageous Blonde) and myself met up for a few hours at West Mount cotton MTB Trails, Kate has a gun attitude and does not hold back as you will see in this edit, Kate is a prime example of trusting yourself and your own judgement on the bike and managed to conquer a few tech sections on a Black Trail called Blacking Out.
Mid ride we met up with a legend BMX Rider and Racer Carl Jepson who is now killing it on the MTB as well, this was one of those rides you wish you could copy and paste again and again.
- I never intended on creating an edit from any of this footage, I just planned on doing some filming to record Kates progression and to capture some fun on the trails but the footage turned out to be more than enough for an enjoyable watch, I hope.

Awesome vid as always mate. Kate is an absolute weapon on 2 wheels amd ALWAYS has a smile on her face (even the first time I met her at NV a few years ago after she had a big off, she was still smiling and laughing)

Yeah Kate has a true and positive vibe around her for sure, I guess it comes easy when doing something she loves. We can all relate to that huh.
Kate is a gun rider and I can appreciate these trails now I’ve done them. Nowhere near your speed and not at Kate’s either at the end of yesterday’s race and would like to come back to conquer the jumps on both black lines 🤙🏼 … good vid Craig

What a great vid! The vibe is so good. Kate is a full on shredder girl or not , she’s a very good rider . Love watching accomplished and skilled riders executing their skill set . As usual this video was just perfect .

Honestly, the jumps weren’t too hard but where some are located is what makes it fun. Doubles into or out of turns creates fun challenges.

These are on West Mount Cotton Rd, there’s a roundabout and quarry where you park, from there you cannot miss them mate. It’s the only roundabout on West Mount Cotton Rd which is easy to find on Google Maps.

@@FlowmentumMTB yes indeed, rode flying cloud yesterday was pretty cool, pretty tech when you start pushing hard and get the lines dialed.

@@marksmith2726 yes I noticed on my 3rd/last run after really pushing it that it become a bit more tech and you had to be a little more alert than I would have expected, just made it soo much more entertaining, those berms are primo huh…
Is it me or does blacking out need some work done, seems a lot of loose rock at the start. Great video as alway Craig never get sick of you doing ya thing on the bike.
After this weekends race, all the trails need work haha. Everything is blown out now, be well worth a fix up. Still fun tho!
Yes agree the start needs a good sweeping, its super lose there but the ruts and exposed sections through the tech bits are a bonus now, super super fun… And thanks for the kind words as always mate, I appreciate it.
