    Also please add Fan noise point in your reviews, it can make/break a deal especially with budget projectors.

    Does anyone know how I can clean inside of the lens as mine has quite a lot of dust inside of the projector

    Cheers for the review, loved the inclusion of thoughts on input lag for gaming. How far away was the lens when you were projecting the 98" screen? I'm interested in the throw ratio as I can't find it listed anywhere. Also how was the fan noise? Thanks!

      Thank you for your kind words!
      I was around 3 meters (probably a little more) away when projecting, but the provided information WiMiUS sent over has the following if it's of any use to you:
      1.6m - 49"
      2m - 60"
      2.5m - 75"
      3m - 93"
      3.5m 109"
      4m - 124"
      4,5m - 141"
      5m - 157"
      6m - 300"
      Fan is relatively quiet, kicks in when the P64 is turned on, but isn't like an aeroplane when watching a movie.

    Hi. I forgot the idea to connect it with WiFi. Anyway the quality is good, but I think the brightness is very weak. Before sending it back I would like to know if there is any setting I can change ? The image is very dark even in the dark ? 25000 really ?!

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We had no issues with the brightness - in both daytime and night-time testing image was very good.
      This will depend on the scenario as much as the projector - our testing was done in a dark room and projected onto a 100" 16:9 electric projector screen with 1.1 gain, and the same room with the blackout blinds open.
      Both scenarios provided watchable projection, with obviously the blackout blinds closed giving the better viewing, as with any projector.

  • @santiagoparra1818
    @santiagoparra1818 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Please can you tell if during the day it can be seen well from a distance of 6 meters without blinds?

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      6 meters with an aspect ratio of 16:9 would give a display of around 300-inches, but would fare much better in a darker environment - our testing in a bright environment showed that the image is watchable, but definitely not ideal, but this would also be dependent on the environment you'd be watching in.
      A reasonably bright environment example is shown at around 2:50 on the review:
      th-cam.com/video/QXJGIt4I-DU/w-d-xo.html
      It's not the brightest room in the world, but definitely looks much better when used in a dark room
      th-cam.com/video/QXJGIt4I-DU/w-d-xo.html shows a side-by-side comparison as well

    What’s the difference between WIMIUS P62 and P64 ? Which one is better ?

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not had chance to look at the P62 unfortunately (we will have a review of the P63 up soon though), but looking on Amazon on the Wimius store page, the biggest difference would be the projection size, ANSI lumens and keystone.
      P64 can go up to 300" and has auto 6D Keystone correction with 500 ANSI lumens
      P62 can go up to 100", has 4D Keystone correction and 450 ANSI lumens.
      We've not tested the P62 though, so can't offer any feedback on it unfortunately.

    Thank you for the detailed video!
    I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I'm not good with technology and my english isn't perfect, but are you saying if I want to watch Netflix or Disney Plus via the app on my phone when it's connected to the projector, I wouldn't be able to do that, but if I were to watch Netflix from my PS5 or PC if connected via HDMI, I would be able to?
    Sorry again 😢

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No apologies needed, not a dumb question at all! That's correct though, as long as you're connected wirelessly, then HDCP would prevent the apps playing, this doesn't happen when the input device is connected via HDMI though (not to overcomplicate it, but some things have HDCP for HDMI too, not in this instance though), so you could connect your phone with the right MHL cable (depending on your device) and watch that way

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You'd still need home internet for the N300 to function as it's a router and a WiFi extender

    • @podcastvsplayer

      Not had a chance to test the K9 - but looking at the specs it's very similar to the P64, but the K9 does have a brighter output at 700ansi lumens - but couldn't give genuine feedback on it as we've not tested it, sorry!

      You can connect anything that has a HDMI output (or USB), so no TV is required - but bare in mind you'll need to keep your projector very well maintained if you intend on using it as a TV replacement

    So 4k input means, he won’t show 4k resolution?

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Some projectors wont support 4K input, whereas this does - but the output won't be 4K, it's a native 1080p projector - basically it accepts and will down-sample 4k input. It does give an excellent picture however

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We've not tested the Xgimi mogo 2 - but looking at reviews we'd steer more to the P64, but we can't give an honest opinion as we've not tested the Xgimi mogo 2.
      We'd recommend checking out our full review for the P64 (video here and written/video review at podcastvsplayer.com) as well as other peoples reviews, and weigh them up against Xgimi mogo 2 reviews to see what works for you

    I just received it today and to be honest I’m quite disappointed, the projector is very loud already just on menu mode like the fan of a very hot laptop. The autofocus is not the best it stays blurry for me and the worst part I think but this could be my fault is that you need WiFi otherwise it’s not gonna work with just your cellular phone for example

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Sorry to hear you've had issues - we didn't suffer with loud noise or autofocus problems, so can't offer any advice there.
      The P64 use iOS Airplay or Miracast to connect to your phone, depending on whether you're using an iPhone or Android

      Hello. I have a similar problem. Also very disappointed : I don't any internet provider at home, so no WiFi router either. I can't connect my MacBook with WiFi to the projector since I don't have any router. Is it normal or do I miss something ? Thank you

      @@Jacquepote Not sure we follow what you mean - are you saying you don't have internet and so can't connect via WiFi?
      Your MacBook will have a HDMI port, connect that to the projector and the Macbook will show as one of the inputs on the projector.
      If there is a HDCP error, then you'll need to disable HDCP on your Macbook, then you're good to go!

    The input lag is 89ms not good for gaming at all.

    • @podcastvsplayer
      @podcastvsplayer  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As mentioned, for anything E-sport related (CoD, Overwatch etc) it would be noticeable, for light casual gaming it more than sufficed - for serious gaming, wouldn't recommend playing on a projector at all really - but it's certainly not 89ms
