Hundreds auditioned all over the world but only like a dozens are picked but get eliminated every monthly evaluation if there is no potential or getting better. The 7 here is the most talented of them dozens + out of hundreds of auditions

This show is amazing. I always thought that K Pop was manufactured, but Idols train like classical musicians and have such a high standard of excellence. Saying this is "manufactured" shows an ignorance to the arduous process and the dedication required to succeed.

People are ignorant and downplay a genre based on foreign sound. Just shows the East is beating the West with training, hard work and definitely talent.

I think this is exclusive to YG entertainment. Their training curriculum is insane!
They're trained to do everything.. from composing to styling and own dance routine. YG is known for their tough and high standards training.

Man y’all are experiencing this first GG under YG have a final evaluation series ever. Blackpink nor their seniors 2NE1 EVER went through this type of public final survival series but all the boy groups under YG have. I watched Bigbang documentary/ let’s not forget the most brutal one two part survival shows of Winner and Ikon how they got formed under YG. Up to the last boy group Treasure …….luckily y’all are gonna be seeing the mild version with Baby Monsters as it wasn’t a extreme as the one for boy groups under YG. No lie though it’s a good way/ strategy YG to build up the Hype and momentum for their Baby Monster for sure

Ahyeon and Pharita speak fluent English and Ahyeon also speaks fluent Chinese as well.Ruka is Japanese and practice her Korean pronunciation more plus with her braces makes it a little more difficult for her English to be as clear. Jennie has talked about YG evaluations which has three stages (solo song, group song, and group dance) that they are evaluated each month for the years that they do training. At this point, some of them have already done 4+ years of training. This BLACKPINK mission was recorded in April 2022 and their LAST mission was recorded in May 2022. So basically you get to see their journey to debut.
