I've created this mermaid tail shown in this video, if you want one too, check out the tutorial I've posted about it!
For this video I wanted to share with you guys how the mermaid tail swims!
Usually I just post the swimming video, but for now I wanted to do it slightly different by adding some ''story line'' I hope you guys like it!
I am not an actress and my dad and brother are not official camera people. We're just trying to make a fun video!
If you are good at noticing things you can see that I adjusted the tail after a while. there is a small fold on the bottom, I later on removed this, but in some scenes it's still noticeable. I hope you understand :)
People are mentioning the “holes” in the end of the tail. These are tiny safety holes so I can reach the foot pockets easily in case of an emergency” I did not found a way to hide them better yet, and I ran out of time and money to make this tail.
Unlike h2o I did not have a whole dive team making sure I was safe while swimming. This tail is heavy and quite dangerous, and I made this video for you guys so I hope you understand I had to add these safety holes.

I've swam here before, years ago. In the mornings and afternoons I would swim with flippers practicing my dolphin kick. At night I would watch videos of people swimming with their tails and tail reviews, dreaming that one day I could do the same. I wanted to come back to this place one day, with a tail, and I have.
I would have never thought I would have a h2o mermaid tail and actually be able to swim with it at this exact spot where my dreams started.
My dream came true. And I know yours will as well.

I could watch this all day! I love swimming in my tail but I also love watching others swim in their tails. Your movement, your tail, it’s so good!! This tail must be heavy but you swim so easy with it I‘d love to have this kind of tail eventually

THIS IS SO AMAZING ever since i was little i’ve had such a huge interest in mermaids and folklore and i’ve always loved h2o (even though both seem childish lol) but this is the most accurate h2o tail i’ve ever seen, it looks so good and realistic, seriously great work!

im so happy to be here with h20 fans and mako fans i love both shows its very sad just add water got removed in some countrys tho at least u can still watch it on youtube and u are such a good swimmer in that mermaid tail when i get older i will for sure look to buying an h20 mermaid tail i can imagine its hard to swim in bc of all the weight but i beleve i can be a good swimmer ill just practice i also love singing like mermaids iv singed many of sirenas songs from mako mermaids so i cant wait to do that u look so pretty in a mermaid tail btw 💙

I was surprised to find out it isn't super hard to get into it. Maybe with a linden monofin. I am going to try when pools open up... Practicing my dolphin kick movement and learning bellydance also to get it more natural looking. My dolphin kick has usually been more of a flounder kick🤦♂️🐟

Your swimming looks sooo natural!! In a lot of these mermaid videos people bend their knees while swimming and it looks too human idk but you look like a mermaid from mako island - you did so well it looks so good!!
it also helps that there is foam that hides my knees! But a proper dolphin kick shouldn't have too much knee-bending.

It's so cool! Great job! Are you planning to make a tail again? I noticed you do this every year. It’s great that your parents are helping you, especially filming videos underwater! It looks professional! Filming underwater looks like something out of h2o! Mako looked so realistic, it seemed that some of the shots of the island layout were taken from a real island in Australia, it turned out that you drew it on the computer! If you make a new tail suit and film it, can you tell us more and show in the video how and what you do with the fabric? I saw on your Instagram that there were a lot of loops inside the tail suit... also the second tail is different from the first, perhaps the second tail is more waterproof and not as heavy as the first? Good luck in your creativity to you and your family!

I have a smaller budget this year, and unfortunately we don’t do family holidays anymore. So this year, I’ve created a silicone monofin! The swimming footage will be in a pool this time, it will probably be in the same video as the tutorial. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be rich and make many tails and takke my family on cool holidays where we can do some mermaid videos haahaa. I think I could do a big mermaid tail q&a video and show extra footage, what exactly would you like to know about the fabric, and loops? :)
Indeed the second h2o tail is different then the first! The older one is actually lighter, but doesn’t have the knees and heels hidden as well as the new one! It also uses less silicone.
