@@neospacianmigz well the deck needs negates so I am trying to fiugure that out now. One raigeki is all it takes to wipe the board... we really need new support for bb. Something that can give protection from board wipes..
Well people don’t really play Raigeki, but I see your point. I’ve seen some lists combine it with bystials and Horus. That can help for some link plays to set up negates
to tag off what the other guy in comments said, try souls with illusion of chaos and sacred sword of seven stars. BB is a level 7 and banish one to get other combos knowing you still got the other might be worth it. trying it out now
I don't think Sacred sword of seven stars is a good Draw Power option (The Buster Blader is the only target), I think Traptrix Allure is better because it has more targets (normal traps) and it also helps speed up the combo by sending a possible Memories for the GY (In addition to recycling a banished Normal Trap back to the deck), another option to consider is Cards of Consonance (it is not once per turn) but it is necessary to put more tuner dragons with less than 1000 of ATK (you will need 2 more copies of Dark Whelp and 3 copies of Destrudo).
na if you play the souls combo you have illusion of chaos as well. play preperation and thats like 9 cards that can end up being target, plus 2 spells to dish with souls

I play with just 1 Illusion of Chaos (I believe that only 1 is necessary), but I'm going to try this strategy with more Ritual Illusion and the spell Preparation, although I think it's exaggerated since at this point I believe it's better to put cards that search for Whelp right away like Draconnection, Small World, Jack-in-the-hand, Bystial Magnamhut, Where Arf Thou?, Tempest Dragon Ruler of Storms + Wind attribute Handtraps like Droll and Mourner and Sage of Eyes of Blue + Mausoleum of White (which by the way also serves as food for M. Soul). But still Sacred Soul of Seven Stars is bad compared to the other two options I mentioned (You really don't want to banish BB since he can be Special Summoned from the hand with Link 2 Whelp, It's only once per turn, if more than one comes in the initial hand sucks and it banishes instead of sending it to the GY, it doesn't let you go further into the combo). And I didn't mention it before but Traptrix Allure can have 12 targets: 3 Prologue, 2 Memories, 1 Flash, 3 Impermanence and 3 Trap Trick. (15 if we add 3 Trap Tracks for even more consistency or 3 Evenly Matched for Board Breaker option).
Don’t you feel like that’s taking up too much space in the deck? I get getting to illusion of chaos is important but like @gabrielpinheirodeassis2765 said it’s more important to have cards that get you to whelp right away

bro, the combo could have been much better and you didn't realize it, normal whelp, add the buster blader, the destruction swordmaster, link 2, effectsend the memories to gy and special busterblader, discart to special whelp and syncrho buster dragon, and with this, you already have everything to the fusion in gy
Even Wizard Whelp doesn't appear much, (if they didn't compete for the same role as Dark Whelp it would be nice). I even think that Karma is more useful than Wizard for dealing with threats from the opponent's GY as it can be used more easily on turn 2 (I've never had problems with Snake-eyes' Promethean Princess). To use the Wizard and the Robot it depends more on the current meta; if it has many monster effects on the GY and if it has spell/trap's face-up with powerful activation effects. (Did you know that at the time these cards came out it was supposed to be the meta counter of that time? Wizard against Shaddoll and Robot against Qliphort and Pendulum Magician).
I was going to put karma but turns out I don’t have it lol. And yea the main whelp that comes up is Buster for the extra deck, the other is just for the name really.

@@bluelightning118 banishing 3-6 cards in a great trade off for what pot gives you, and paying lp doesn’t matter because you won’t let ur opponent attack you.

My previous build had trap tricks but I felt it was still too slow and opted for hand traps and protection form hand traps (called by and cross out )

I don’t have access to Magician’s Soul but it does sound like a great option. I will test it online

why not the machine type welp? i feel like having it in the side deck at least is a good idea.
