That was a really good summary. I've loved Jurassic Park since I first read it when I was 8 or 9, but I've never thought about it so critically. I never connected that Hammond's call from the plane was to bring Lex and Tim, for example

@@BravePip Thank you very much. I think it's a sign that Crichton had a lot of background information simmering in his mind that just never got laid out on the page - and probably for the best - another 100 pages of logistics and where people come from may not have improved the novel lol.
