I've been having a lot of fun with Hazard. He doesn't feel over or under powered, like a jack of all trades but master of none. There's a specific hero setting that you can enable for him that makes aiming the wall much easier. If you put the wall behind someone you can do his leap and punch twice and knock them into it, so cool.
been watching since your cinematics reactions and to you actually started playing it, it's been a wild ride seeing you learning this fairly complex game with too many nuances to mention and frankly doing quite well while having fun. im a ow1 veteran since launch and plays with my gf daily so its really refreshing. hope you keep it up! most importantly have fun learning this game!
So a few tips, your movement abilities aren’t just engagement tools they can be used to escape if you need to, when diving enemies try and make sure they are isolated from their team particularly from their tank, on hazard the right click does a ton of damage so don’t just save it to defend yourself, use it against people when they are trapped in your ultimate as it reduces the damage they deal to you and can’t get out your range and when it comes to hero matchups it’s not as simple as a rock/paper/scissors of Overwatch, when countering I look at three things, 1: what heroes are my team playing, 2: what map am I on and 3: what heroes are the enemy playing
I find Hazard enjoyable. He can be oppressive, but doesn't cause enough damage for him to be insufferable, and isn't as annoyingly mobile like Doomfist. It's like if Doomfist, Mei, and Genji had a baby.
It happens to some new players. You see it, they get better with time if they keep up the practice. Like tunnel vision or getting overwhelmed with senses. Honestly I think I might've done it way back in the day sometimes when I got tilted at myself and would just subtly zone out not even noticing it, but I grew out of it completely over time and am now a mid Masters player on PC
not fast, you had a lucio. when the match starts don't stand in line of siht to their spawn unless you're asniper tryomg to get some early kills. stand behind cover and only engage when you have your team behind you and you are close range.
32:48 matchup charts are unfortunately usually pretty misleading and usually only misguide lower experience players as they are typically only made by lower rank players as most other players realize they don't work. There's so much more depth/nuance to the game that your really have to figure it out yourself. Dvas can outplay Zarya match ups for example, and Soldier 76 was extremely overrated against pharah back in the day, both examples of poor understanding in the community.
A hero from my country yay

Your brain malfunctions and you just stop shooting and stare at the enemies for some reason. Happens a lot, it's so bizarre.
