I can imagine a whole movie based on this song and the characters they embody here. Maybe set in Las Vegas. Also, I'm hoping they do more together, like the Silk Sonic colab from a couple years ago.
Funny you mentioned vegas, Bruno mars and gaga had back to back residencies in las vegas earlier this summer, one after the other at the same venue. (Was able to see bruno there in june, but had to go home before gaga performed--vegas will drain your wallet LOL) I bet they must have cooked this up during their downtime!!

A love song, so beautiful, we needed this. ❤ The Hooligans are Bruno’s band and they are there doing the backing vocals and those early harmonies. His band is amazing. Agree, song of the year. Yep, Bruno's and his band, the Hooligans were asked to perform for the first two nights opening up the Intuit Dome in mid-August. In addition to Lady Gaga there was a sorta surprise mini-Silk Sonic moment on one of the nights with Anderson .Paak. They were a hoot together singing "Leave the Door Open." 😂 I miss them.
Named "Number 4" I heard. I can't believe in all these years he's only made three albums, cuz there were so many hits on each one. In between them\ albums he was always touring -- pretty much around the world. At many stops where they don't speak English they know ALL the words for his songs and sing along with him. It's amazing.
Crazy there are tens of thousands of people there but there is 0 video with decent audio quality…. what a bummer. Gaga’s vocals was insane but the audio was so so bad. Bruno despite performing a long set prior to this still slayed- could detect a little fatigue but he rocks!!!

I first heard it in the office at work... the radio was on the other side of the office to where I am, but that strum pattern... I remember my most long standing songwriting collaborator and at least one other performer that I know who have used that exact same strum pattern for years and years. So thats what caught my ear first. I had to go through a radio station playlist to find out what it was. And as much as I dont like Gaga - while she is undoubtedly musically talented, the gimmicky s*** that she really doesnt need and the derivative shock value schtick that she did a decade ago... annoyed the s*** out of me - credit has to be given where it is rightly due. This is, by anyones measure a bloody brilliant single and the studio cut is exceptional. Absolutely deserves to be Song Of The Year. No question whatsoever. its one of those songs that comes along every ten years that really resonates with everybody and is technically absolutely right on the money. Best single I've heard in about 10 years. No question.
Please review the VIDEO version of "Die with a Smile." On second thought this may be better than the studio version. The ending is much more harmoniously blended.What can I say they're both great.🤷♀

You could listen to pretty much any song, but some suggestions: Moving, Wuthering Heights, Symphony in Blue, Fullhouse, Babooshka, The Wedding List, Army Dreamers, Running Up That Hill, Hounds of Love, Cloudbusting, This Woman's Work ....just a few. ;) hahahaha
Thinking Beautiful Things by Benson Boone should be song of the year, but Die with a Smile should be Grammy for best duo or group award. Tim you should watch original video of this song.
