Born and raise 10 minutes from Disneyland Anaheim.. now live 15 minutes away... Haven't been inside the park in 15-20 years...But now I have a reason to go👍👍
I went on millennium falcon three times, and while being a pilot was the most magical of the three positions, it was still AMAZING. Only complaint is that the back seats aren’t as interactive, but it’s just as fun in my opinion.
gunner is okay but you feel like you’re actually doing nothing because even manual aiming still basically aims on its own. Being the pilot on the right is magical because you get to jump to hyperspeed. 😂
The Avengers ride is going to use the same ride system as Flight of Passage except each seat will move individually so you have a slightly different experience every time you ride
I can’t agree more, the crowds are going to make or break these attractions. I think everything sounds amazing but how can you enjoy it if you’re fighting to see everything it has to offer 😬
The Avatar ride is so amazing I couldn’t believe I had a tear in my eye when it was over! Wow! I’ve done the ride 6 times with the 2.5 hour wait and I’d do it again right now. It’s borderline a spiritual experience.
I've been to Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland several times, and it is by NO means a failure! The Millennium Falcon is just incredibly well designed, and the line being short is a good/intentional thing! And people are buying the merch, I see shirts, Porgs, lightsabers, and droids everywhere (I built a droid myself and they are very cool)! I think the launch was less crowded than people thought because so many were scared off by the thought of what happened at Avatar Land.
As someone who's been on the millennium falcon ride, the problem with it is the re-rideability. Even though there are different positions you can take, the adventure is the same EVERY TIME (at least it was when I went).

I really hope they use Scarlet Witch and not bench her like they usually do with merch. I could see it now! Scarlet Witch floats down (on wires), greets fans, and takes pictures. Then at the end when she leaves, they could send a mission alert over a speaker and she launches herself into the air to leave for a mission. I might be thinking too big but, that would be amazing to see.

The Best Ride I've been on by FAR is Harry Potter and the Forbiddne Journey. That ride is INCREDIBLE. The Avatar Ride is really cool too, but the emotional connection and the characters make the Harry Potter ride AMAZING.
Hey Grace. I never had fomo until i started watching your videos and now I've caught this strong affinity for movies and theme parks, especially all things Disney!
When Disneyland is done with Phase 2 of Avengers Campus is when I'm wanting to make my next trip out to California. I am very excited about the Quinjet ride. I really hope they have the same actors reprise their roles for this and based on the details given, it sounds like the audience may join in with the Avengers during the Wakandan battle from Infinity War although it would be weird to explain Captain Marvel being there as she wasn't in that film, but it would still be badass to experience the battle along side all of my favorite Avengers heroes. Hopefully given the issue between Sony and Disney, they'll allow Spider-Man to be apart of this attraction as well as his own.
Hong kong Disneyland also has a small avengers campus in their tomorrowland. Also I can't believe Disney will repeat galaxy's edge’s mistake by opening the small attraction with the land and the big attraction later on. Love that you are covering the parks! My favorite topic.
From the way they described I think you start out in a quintet and then you eject or something like that and the seats actually split apart which would be insane for a theme park ride

Just came back from Hollywood studios, didn’t go on the slinky ride because it was over 100 minutes long to wait but it wasn’t as crowded as I was expecting.

Guardians Breakout counts as a new ride to me. I would maybe go on Tower of Terror if you made me, but Guardians is just so HYPE. My wife and I went on it four times in our day at California Adventure this month. SO GOOD

Lol Grace, in a theme park, shorter wait times are a display of success, not design flaw. Why would anyone want to experience a 10 hour ride line? It drops the quality and the satisfaction of going to the parks. In this case shorter wait times are caused by careful planning of the parks to sway traffic in various areas. After all, Galaxy's Edge heightened the capacity of Disneyland by 20%.

Fight of Passage is amazing. But I've now ridden Hagrids coaster at Universal 4 times and it definitely gives it a run for it's money
