Further to my excited comment a few weeks ago. 🤣. I sat down today to "blitz" putting these on my old rubber stamps. A eureka moment for me was when I removed the skinny border all around the sheet. DON"T throw it away! If you cut it into shorter strips it is perfect for all those tiny, narrow stamps such as sentiments! 😊

Stampin" Up should add a link to this video on the website!! Trying to use those strips the first time was beyond frustrating until I figured out the strips are more rectangular - not strips that follow the appearance of the backing paper. Also, thank you for the warning about using rubbing alcohol. The instructions included with this product need to be updated and expanded to include this important information. Thank you, Connie!!

🤣 I jumped on these as soon as the catalogue came out! I had resorted to saving the “scrap” bits from the new stamps sets and cutting that into pieces to put on my older stamps! This will be much easier! Now, to blitz and do all my older sets!

I have been adding this cling backing to my clear mount & converting rubber stamps from wood mount. These I ordered new S/U plastic stamp cases to put the stamps sets in for storage. I have been able to peel & remount the drawings of the stamps from the wood block to the back of that rubber stamp after removing them from the blocks. Even the name of the sets have transferred from the wood mount case to the thinner plastic stamp cases. Love these because I can use them on my stamparatus. I set the stamps up using 3 or 4 sides of doors so I can have the different layers lined up for multiple stamping easily by turning & moving the doors on the stamparatus. I have found a few of the wood mount to be too tight to peel of the rubber stamp at room temperature. For these I recently experimented with heating then in the microwave a few seconds at a time until the stamp peeled off easily enough to remove without damaging it. This was a background stamp

:/ Hi Connie, I appreciate you displaying these. I think there is a reasonable expectation that a stamp set you purchased shouldn't be a challenge to use. I think Stampin Up dropped the ball here. Unless I am missing something. I have products that are frustrating to use, but I still want to use them. But to be able to use them with ease I have to buy another product? I feel like Stampin up owe's customers who bought these clear mounts these complimentary.

@@marcime99I want to unmount mine from the wood blocks to save room with my stamps. Do you use glue to attach the image sticker back on to the foam from the wood mounted ones if so what kind of glue. Looking for suggestions so I don't destroy them trying to convert all my stamps so I can use them on blocks or for use with Stamparatus. Also could I use the plastic from the boxes of the wood mounted ones to store them on (cutting the box open). I've found I only need to use a very small strip for these to work. Before they were available, I, too, were cutting little pieces of the cling paper the stamps came on and even that little bit worked. So, for me, I won't be using as much on a stamp unless the stamp is a big background type of stamp. I'm really glad SU came out with these in the catalog...I ordered them right away.

Hello! I was looking for a stamper who also used that product to prep a rubber stamp after the wood mount is off. It’s a headache for me but it freed up SO much storage space! I’m thinking these strips WOULD work tho. The stamps I’ve done so far had to have a thin coating of the mono dual glue spread on the back. I let them dry overnight then stuck them in a SU stamp case. They were fine for awhile but now I’ve noticed some have let loose and are bouncing around in the cases. Ugh...My next order will have these included for sure! Hope this answers your question. Happy 4th🇺🇸🎆
