Great singing Jolan! Although Prince is untouchable and his talent and voice are incomparable, you did the song justice. Brilliant!
I too loved the live version. But people have to understand this lad is a musician and not a karaoke star. As an actual musician he can adapt, change and create. This shows a very smooth, relaxed and restrained side to his talent. If he picks his songs wisely he could be terrific. I would love to hear his take on some of the less known Pete Townshend stuff like "No Road Romance" or the Beautiful "Brooklyn Kids" or maybe some Donny Hathaway covers would be nice. Hopefully he will take good advice and hook up with some great song writers who will give his voice and musicality the vehicle it deserves.

The rasp and sharp rocky edge made an incredible and absolutely gripping contrast with the soft and silky quality of your voice. It mesmerized me then and I think it makes your performance stronger.
