This movie is about Chuck Norris kicking some Ass... Enjoy the movie. Period!

I found this movie to be lame and full of cliches. Chuck Norris movies of that era, were all the same, not exactly appealing to intellectuals: the plot consisting of, him firing big weapons, beating up a lot of people, and overcoming impossible odds. Vietnamese government vs US being presented as stereotypical tyrants vs. essence of human goodness, evil vs. good. There just happened to be a big boat and gun waiting for him upon his arrival in Vietnam that hadn't been found by the locals and had remained hidden for years. He crashed a plane and none of the people onboard required medical treatment. Every one of the enemy rockets missed his vehicle. Seemingly, the whole Vietnam war had been rekindled just over him escaping with his family and the population of an orphanage (with hundreds of US soldiers waiting for him just on the other side of the border, of course). The plane's radio was fully functional and was tuned in to the right channel to be able to summon them.
