    💬 LESSON DESCRIPTION:
Have you ever thought to yourself, “I hate how I sound on the guitar…”?
Have you ever felt like everything you play sounds stale and boring?
I’ve definitely felt this way before, and I think it’s part of a cycle that we all go through.
In this video, I talk about how we can overcome disliking the way we sound on the guitar.
Whenever we feel this way, I think we’re exactly on track because we’re going through a four-phase cycle that leads to breakthroughs.
If we can recognize this cycle as a natural part of our growth as musicians, then we’ll be better able to stay centered when discouraging feelings arise.
If you’ve ever hated how you sound on the guitar, then this should be helpful.
I hope you enjoy this lesson about and find it beneficial.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
    Thanks! :)

Love it - really excited to see more Jazz Guitar stuff. One resource I think would be really useful (even if it was a paid e-book) would be a huge collection of your favourite Jazz Guitar licks to play over the most common chord types in Jazz (not just ii-V-I Major and Minor...).
Ross Campbell released an amazing book for Blues Guitar Soloing called Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar which is amazing and I wish there was something similar for Jazz. You;re the guy to do it!

Very honest… same here. Playing in my bubble, then recording it and wanting to burn my guitar after having listened back to it. 2 steps forward and then 1.9 back.

It used to be the guitar’s fault!! I’d change that, then plonk out the same stale crap. Wasted a lot of time, money….
