Spurs picked up a monster in the draft where they picked. They won't trade for any elite player yet. Maybe next year...the timeline doesn't match yet. Wait 1-2 years and get an elite player when they are still in their prime and they save $$ now. Why would they get garland now unless they can catch Minnesota , Dallas or Denver or OKC.
