Actually, the harness that you plugged your power to is the harness that European models use for their trailer wiring harness. It's a shame Tesla does not activate the lights' connections to that connector to simplify after market tow hitch.

Did you figure out how much to torque the ball onto the mount? I dont see a torque spec in the instructions

did the bumper go fully in for you at the top? mine doesnt and has a sight gap where the rivets go into. i push it in but itll just pop back out. not a huge deal but just wondering if my instal went wrong somwerhe

why is the curt hitch only rated for 2000ibs? can it pull more than the "rated weight"?

Where in the video do you install the fuse? I see you wire it, but then you say you’ll plug it in last. Not sure if I just missed it.

I’ll have to look at the time stamp, but it’s when I plug in the cable into into the connector on top of the aluminum bumper. That is what the fuse is connected to. After I wired up the lights, just before testing, is when I plugged it into power.

This hitch/receiver is rated to 3500lbs towing and 350lbs tongue weight, which exceeds the M3 specs. Would you tow 3000lbs/300lbs TW with this setup?

They don't really tell you the class, but it has a 350lb tongue rating and a 3500lb trailer rating
