Had a Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and 600 HD. Absolute amazing machines. Such a shame they lost markets and terrain. Miss those days in the 80’s and early 90’s
@@HowtoRetro managed to get an impressively stable retroarch running nicely thanks to another of your videos. Looks great so far with only one or two software errors
Sadly FS-UAE is no longer being developed, the latest build is a couple of years old. Also, there's this new emulator called "Denise" which emulates the C= 64 AND the Amiga.
I lnow to use all those emus, but it's a SHAME, after more than 20, still no user friendly amiga user friendly like genesis emulators....This is sad :(
Whilst I've been familiar with pretty much every Amiga emulator going, you're right, it'd be so nice to have a really easy to use Amiga emulator, just for convenience more than anything.
I use the Android emulator and the Amiga mini. None are perfect, good and bad in either systems. The mini has whdload options, where you can simply drop it onto the usb stick, while the Android supports upto 4 floppies without any trouble. Pandory mod for the Amiga mini uses puae, albeit i dont like Retroatch, while the mini uses a different emulator under the hood.
The emulator is friendly, what happens is that The Amiga had several variants and that is why you must know how to configure it, that is, the type of AMIGA you want to use, even the WinUae emulator itself helps you preset with the type of AMIGA computer that you want to use.
I know what you mean. Most computer emulators suck because they don't account for people who have no idea what the fuck any of the hardware combos are in the first place. Biggest tip and advice for you for an easy experience: Look for the following TH-cam videos from NettiGaming, and basically download what she gives you and make a backup of it so you always have it since it's nice and has iGame already configured with Opus file manager: Play Commodore Amiga games on your PC - EASY SETUP! Amiga for PC Setup Part 2 How do I add games?

Computing was definitely more fun back then!
I’ve struggled with winuae for some years… don’t know why it never occurred to me to look for simpler emulators! Thanks for the vid 👍
Thank you! It's still not a perfect world with Amiga emulators, but at least there are options!

Thanks again! Yes, RetroArch is a pinickity little app sometimes, but is absolutely one of the best once you get familiar with it!

1:05 the moment I hear this masterpiece my hair stands on edge
Great video
Thanks!
I had one back in the day, remember playing Batman for days. Is it worth it today? Don't want to spoil the memories…
Which Amiga emulators are NOT under active development?
Great video! Thanks! I no nothing about computers but I would love to play monkey island again, what is the best option? Thank you very much!
Amikit! Home hosed and grazing in the paddock.

amiga forever was not easy to use, and after trying several games which didnt work well, i gave up.
i wish someone with common sense would make an amiga emulator. theres not a single amiga emulator that is user friendly.
