He wasn’t an absent dad. He was when Wendy was pregnant but he wasn’t absent when vale was born. U also have to understand they are young. The mind doesn’t fully develop until u are 25 and older. They were fresh out of high school still trying to figure out what career path to take when she got pregnant. Now they are 20 and still trying to find what they are interested in. I honestly think people can be an amazing father but a horrible partner and that’s unfortunately how some are.

She was 18, not even becoming her own person yet, ppd, going through a horrible break up, she was on fight or flight and her childhood trauma. Her foggy memory is due to all her trauma.

@@estlopez7396Yes, her not remembering much because trauma response is when your brain purposely or sometimes not even purposely forgets things that happens in your past in order to protect yourself and not have anxiety. Like when she says autopilot, she is just going day by day but not feeling anything or allowing herself to feel anything.

Unfortunately what Wendy went through with Carlos is something that’s become so common among this generation of men growing up in a social media world men get hooked on pornography. It’s so disheartening hearing young girls and women get victimized by these men’s actions and lack of self control. Carlos needs to take accountability for the pain he caused her specially during such monumental moments such as pregnancy. I really hope and pray for Wendy’s mental health and for her to know that those types of actions from her baby daddy were not normal at all. Carlos needs to take responsibility and get down to the root of why he seeks that type of content. pornography addiction is real and goes much deeper than just seeking pleasure. I hope he gets help because that’s microcheating and until a man learns to be sexually mature and self control they will never be fully committed to any partner no matter how attractive their partner is and all these men wind up doing is breaking and making these girls insecure like Wendy became. Much love for Wendy and glad Alan gave her this platform to finally speak up about why she left Carlos. She had all the reason and did so much for their relationship.

My heart honestly goes out to Wendy. So many people criticize her, & bash on her. Yes, there’s a way of her making money different ways & always including her daughter, but we have to remember, she’s so young, she had a baby at a young age, & thankfully she has a mother, & siblings, who love & support her & her daughter & help, which is a kind of village we need, her village supports her & allows her to live her life as well. As life goes on & Wendy becomes older, she’ll become a lot more wiser & change the way she does things, & as long as she makes that change & dedicates her life & career path to her daughter then that’s what matters. Instead of bashing, just let it be, it’s up to us as a parent to show people wrong. As parents, working parents, we don’t own anyone an explanation. Wendy if you’re reading this, you go girl, have fun, live life, & thank the man up above for the village you have, you are truly blessed 🫶🏻
The fact that she is still open to having a relationship with her father even after anything speaks volumes of her. I’ve grown so much love for Wendy because people don’t realize that she does have feelings but she’s had to grow up coping with her own emotions by herself she’s not going to express to everyone that it gets to her. People want to find a reason to hate and be envious. She’s an amazing person.
Tbh the reason why wendys mom is so loving and caring and always wants to be with Valentina is because she missed out on a lot of time with her children and with her having vale around she’s trying to make up for all that time she couldn’t be with her kids she at least wants to be a present grandma ! the stuff my dad couldn’t do for me he is doing it now with my son and that’s healing my inner child they deserve a 2nd chance in life !

If you really hear her story from a deep level she saying she wasn’t close with her mom or sisters, and her needing someone to tell she was pregnant but she didn’t have anyone to tell but “Carlos” if that make sense. She felt like she didn’t have anyone but Carlos (her best friend) and that made everything that happened with them 20x worse
Thank you for bringing Wendy back! Its so interesting to learn more of her and her story, she has a sad story and I feel so bad for her, she’s been thru so much and there’s so much more to her than just being an influencer. I hope she’s happy at heart or is at least getting there day by day.

I’m 34 years old and wish I had my dad in my life. I agree with Wendy when she says she don’t know how it feels to be loved by a man because she never had that father figure in her life that hurt when she cried. I started crying for her. This girl had postpartum depression and everybody judged her. She went through alot during and after her pregnancy of course she had some disconnection from her baby.

I think this was my favorite episode so far. It’s funny because she’s such a good mom the only difference is her life is filmed. You did a great job Alan. I feel bad for Wendy because she's been hurt and she's so young to have already experienced all of this that some people in their 30s,40s haven't even experienced! ... she has every reason to have her guard up, being hurt sucks! Awww she’s actually so relatable. As much as we can heal, talking about something like this brings up that pain we learned to forget 🥺 I also felt like I didn’t have that connection with my son off the jump, because I was so caught up in the drama with my sons dad & and learning to be a first time mom. We can’t help but to feel guilty but at the same time, over time, we come to realize what we were going through and learn to forgive ourselves. That connection came once I let go of what wasn’t important and just focused on my son. It gets better, it really does 🫶
I wish I could just give Wendy a hug. That girl has been through hell & gets so much hate for no reason. I feel like she just needs someone to be proud of her & love her & make her feel seen.
