Had it up to two boss fights for 15 last night. Lost them both because 4 ER bases with SL’s wreck Rifles and Zookas. I might even wait and get Heavies, but definitely going to wait to move into 4 ER so I can get 4, DBD and SL’s at the same time. Otherwise, I’ll be out-teched. Good luck!!
They are called explosive drones. Yeah they might be ok right now but getting them and smoke are not a good idea when your going to need those keys/tokens down the road.
That is a unique strategy with the explosive drones and those times are great! I am low to mid 15 on my accounts saving up for 4ER. For one I picked up flares and gbe and the other I skipped those. Sadly I doing about the same for both. I am using rifle-zooka and have Brick and TH for both accounts. I am saving for 4ER and want to have both the DBD and SLS when I get there. It looks like a fizzle meta is starting in 4ER. This is especially true with the bases that have DBD, SLS, Mortars and a DC. They are out there and I ran into one of them already and was lucky to get an ER.
Nice hits! I skipped the explosive drone multinode because I don't think it will have long play, but it's really good at 3 er.

Fighting for my life in mid/high R15 with 3 chests ready, everytime I get to the boss battle, its some op 4 er base xD
keep at it, try playing at different times you might get lucky with your matchmaking next time.
