I wish that you had closed captioning in this video. Because of the way it was recorded, I can’t really get everything you are saying. I really appreciate the time you take to explain these very important procedures
No dental insurance doesn’t cover them. If you need full mouth of implants. Rough guess would be between. $30,000-$80,000. If you need individual implants just one tooth or few teeth. It is between $2,000-$5,000 per tooth. My mom has five individual implants for teeth. It cost $20,000 to have them all done without insurance.
You need to have it removed and redone. My mom has five individual implants for five of her teeth. Four failed the dentist charged full price to do them again. The fifth one got infected. Had to be redone. You sign treatment plan before you have dental work done including implants. They go over all the risks including failure and infection. The patient pays the full price to have it done again. If you don’t have the money to handle any potential problems. Then getting bridge is cheaper. I had one for 14 years with no problems. Insurance does cover those. I am getting dentures eventually.
It’s funny my first attempt they used my plasma and the pain was excruciating during the first few days ( i am used to dental pain and I was in tears) then at 2 weeks it randomly fell out (never chewed on that side etc) I think it was her technique 😢. Yesterday I had it re-attempted as well as an additional in front done and this new dentist did not use my blood though he did use bone graft. His technique seems far better and my pain is nowhere near where it was the first time with ONE implant even though I got 2 this time. Honestly my molar doesn’t hurt at all and that’s the one that was painful and failed before , the pain I do have is in my front (#7) and even still I’d say it’s around a 4-5 and was only slightly more than that the day of. Much better this time around even without using my blood. I am hopeful everything will go great. Love your videos!
Oh and this time around he said not to use my flipper the first week because the front will swell quite a bit. After over a year of flipper I can’t wait to be done! 🎉
Good summary but the audio is horrible. You need to resample the audio at a much higher volume level.

Ty for the information 😊

No microphone?
What's that? Some fancy pantsy new gizmo or something?
How much is the average implant for prospective patients? Does dental insurance cover any of this procedure?

If I’ve had previous spinal surgery which didn’t fuse, could it be more likely that an implant would not fuse into tissue?
Can't HEAR it.
My question is what if a dental implant fails after being placed two years ago
