This episode was just fantastic, great reaction! Some other random LN context: Mama Mia's conversation is a callback to her words to Bell when he was apologizing for running away one night (in S1, when Bete insulted him and he got embarrassed). Basically, she implied that she remembers him as the lonesome Bell/Tomato Boy of the Hestia familia. The anime in its entirety has been leaving out important Ais content for years; even in S4, a major part of what kept Bell going in the deep floors was his love/admiration for Ais, which helped him hold onto to hope and not give in to despair. Additionally, in Sword Oratoria Ais has just quite a few Bell simping/inspiration moments like Bell has for her, so the feelings are not one-way. So, that scene with Ais is a bit more heartfelt than you'd expect Also, with Hermes, part of what made him realize something was wrong was his correspondence with Zeus. Remember in S1 how it was revealed that Zeus was Bell's "Grandpa"? This is a detail that was left out in this episode for some reason, basically Zeus is still around.
Ais is who she always is, the silent calm hero through and through, saving people without big flashiness! Just a simple statement brought Bell back from shattering into dust! While I want him to be with Ryu, he NEEDS Ais! That end fight was exactly what I needed to see out of Bell, not just trying to survive, but attacking head on! Hermes is definitely on some Shikamaru shit, continuous figuring out what’s happening, being memory wiped, then realizing he needs to ALMOST figure things out so he doesn’t get wiped and still try to see the puzzle pieces. Honestly, didn’t know he had it like THAT!
This episode was something else... Bell was so ready to give up but Ais managed to save him from the brink. Nah but why my boy tapped into his inner Shadow the Hedgehog though? "I am Bell Cranel, the Ultimate Rabbit Foot. This is WHO I AM"
He was indirectly telling Hedin that he doesnt have any doubt anymore that he belongs in the Hestia Familia and he regained his drive. Hedin was watching Bell from afar saw that exchange between Bell and Ais so he knew what it meant
They cut out a VEEEEEEERRRRRYYYY important piece of information. This is not a spoiler as it takes place during Hermes' monologue During his monologue Hermes remarks that his job takes him all over the world and how he rarely stays in one place for very long, despite this he has stayed in Orario for 4 months, why? Was it because of something? Or someone? The biggest clue for why he thinks this is because he received a letter. It has no name or return address and all it says is "Stiiiillll no updates?" Hermes has been in contact with a certain great god ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ all this time, pretty regularly too, even going to visit this God in person sometimes. No one else is aware of this connection tho. Zeus lives baby
Either the zeus reveal either was not their intent or they might do it in the next ep end of season. Ya probably should have put a possible spoiler tag just for that.
@@ghostdragon4164 So the MC is just lying about that piece of info being there then? And there were many comments in different reaction vids that explains a cut content that literally shows up in the next episode or sometimes further down. So you can relax if you want and this aint my comment so I cant force it. but I dont see a problem with just adding extra words just to be a little careful.
Ais's plot armor is too strong for Freya's charm 🤣 So Ouranos made the Hermes familia distribute firewood so they can make the hearth? Two big brain gods there
Hedin is always on Freya (Sill) side, and is willing to take on the task of training a foolish rabbit if it's for that purpose. And Hedin recognizes Bell Cranel, and there are two types of Hedin's tone: ``stern master (master)'' and ``cold-hearted enemy who hunts down for the sake of the goddess.'' After Bell met Ais, he laughed and gave encouragement as a mentor during the battle between Bell and Hedin. It will become clear in the faction war that will be held later that Hedin recognizes Bell Cranel from the bottom of his heart.
Aiz the Goat!!! Ryu still best girl though 🗿 You guys should read Danmachi Sword Oratorio. Its sooo good, its as good and in some instances even better than the main story. It also adds so much context to events that happen in the main series like why exactly was ishtar so confident in taking on freya with a measely army of level 5's and where did hermes get a knossos key that he used to corner the xenos.
I second this. Just recently read it. And it really adds SOOO much context to many things loki familia and arcs they are and are not involved with. Yes, its mainly the manga about ais but we also get a bunch of backstory and arcs of some of the other loki familia (I actually got interested). Remember wolf guy that talked sht about bell in S1? I actually really like his character now. Going back to ais we actually see emotion from her and her mental thought process and/or reasonings for still talking to bell and I would say its a good ass reason for her to be interested in him. We even get a newish character (Because the anime barely or didnt show her at all) who is an elf chick. And didnt know how to feel about her at first but grew to like her character and interactions with bell. EDIT: I obviously don't want to overhype it so Ill just say to read it just to know more about ais in general. The anime cut soo much for no reason. And I even forgot the sword oratoria got animated and I even watched it so Idk why I don't remember anything from that.
@@mikerotch2066 Fr, i love bete and his arc that sh•t lowkey made me tear up. And i love the direction they took with ais in the manga, actually showing her emotions instead of just an aloof and cold personality really made her character more interesting and endearing to me. Sword oratorio also has a pretty consistent and overarching storyline with pretty cool villains (it also expands a bit on ishtar as i mentioned). And i was engaged all the way through
Bruh I was trying to skip the intro and for not even 1 second, I seen bell fighting you know who 😭. 8:38 I'm sure anyone would be cozy with their face in between some breasts lmao. 10:11 WE NEED MORE INFO ABOUT MAMA MIA CAUSE WTF. 12:40 I never gave ais the queen status but she DEFINITELY GOT IT NOW. 14:37-16:20 hermes is insanely smart, he really figured out he was in loop and kept trying to break it.
I also like the dynamic between Bell and Ais. It definitely motivated Bell at the end. I think it’s hilarious that Bell and Freya were in bed together.

Fun fact finn also figured out that he was stuck in a loop, even quicker than hermes in fact, but he had no solution
