My brother used to be extra assistant commissioner at Meluri. It’s late but belated Golden Jubilee. We should continue to preserve our culture, language & green spaces. The food looks yummy.
Yes yes we were about to tour this village but on the way to shilloi lake a truck got stuck on the way n we wait n wait for hours n later it was late n all we do is vist the lake n head back home . So glad to hear a primary school has been established,have visited sometime during 2013.The village now needs a small health center.The agri-allied departments of the.state govt. of Nagaland need to adopt this village and uplift their economy. God bless you brother.

Yes, my Naga brothers and sisters. I have visited your village in 2020 to study the feasibility of opening of international trade between India and Myanmar. My Naga brothers are very good and provide us food for that day.. Very very nice people, specially the pastor❤️❤️🌹
Overall the landscape is so wonderful... I will surely go dere someday.. my home is just some 150 km south in the valley but we sparingly go up the hills and always so hesitant to appreciate d beauty in our own homeland in contrast to our blind imitation of mainland Indian culture... such a pity dat the people of these 2 states manipur and nagaland who hve live here together since thousand of years; moreover genetically, culturally & physically so close.. yet so far....... glad to know dat u also call d tree beans YONGCHAK........lots of love from manipur ❤❤
Northeastern states are indeed blessed by beautiful landscape and natures. But many of us fails to recognize our own nature and appreciate it. 😊 I heard that Yongchak is a Manipuri dialect.. but still we called it YONGCHAK...
Here I don't want to proof dat somebody is using someone else dialect... my point was to highlight our common roots and single ancestry even common heritage.....

I was in Nagaland last winter, a trip coinciding with the Hornbill Festival. apart from that, the highlight of my trip was in Longwa and meeting the headhunters at the village straddling the international border with Myanmar. Next visit, I plan to cover Phek and Peren districts. Not any time soon, but post Covid. Trust you can help me on that count. I figured out Pfutsero in Phek for now. Love from Goa.
