  • In the icy depths of Antarctica, a team sets out to investigate a strange signal, unknowingly embarking on a journey that will challenge everything they thought they knew about their past and future.
    Part one of the frost introduces a never-seen-before cinematic world crafted entirely from ai-generated imagery.

      For that to happen, you'd need an AI tool that could take several 100 pages and render it into art in an short period of time. AI tools at the moment takes their time and that's just with a long paragraph of description - imagine it has to do that with an ENTIRE BOOK of possibly 100s of pages.

Also, AI can't take all the jobs because for starters companies and the government depend of your money. Without people working there will be a surplus of goods and no demand which means companies losing money. Also, with no jobs people won't be able to pay taxes which affects the government. As AI technology advances the government will start to put regulation to keep a good balance between AI and human labor.

    Oh no!We are on the threshold of a new era of AI movies, but the result is not yet completely satisfying. Although I am convinced that amazing things can be achieved with this technology, I have no interest in consuming inferior products. We have already made significant progress in the film field, so we should not be confronted with inferior products.

    • @sigmacademy
      @sigmacademy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "I always wonder where the attraction is in having films or images created by machines. I belong to that generation that still values the creative work of humans."
      To answer your question, the "attraction" in it will be "digital actors" doing stuff that no human could ever do safely or successfully. As to the "value" of the "creative work of humans", you can just look at the latest movies to see what the effect will be. Some people are just interested in the spectacle, and care little for creative work, whether that be the consistency of the story, quality of the CGI, character growth or development, performances, authenticity, resonance or anything else. AI will give THEM more spectacle than anything any single human imagination could ever dream up, ESPECIALLY since it will be using both the human social AND computer social knowledge that exists at that period of time.

      In games it is already in use in cutscenes, AI can replicate voice actors and the style shown in this video is already often used. Out of my head I can name everquest2, which cutscenes were created by AI. They have problems like those swimmy, weird and somewhat off images, but if we also keep in mind that video AI did not exist 12 months prior, it is groundbreaking how far it became the last year.
      And that guy is not wrong, our AI knowledge more than trippels every year since 2021. But I don't see it as a problem, the first thing AI is going to replace is anime drawing and that leaves the mangaka to think of interesting ideas while the AI brings their ideas into life

    • @recordednowhere
      @recordednowhere 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      "i belong to the generation that still values the creative work of humans"
      I belong to such a generation as well, but I don't value all creative work, just outstanding work. the vast majority of human "creativity" is cliches, stolen ideas and commercialized trash.
      so. if a machine makes more interesting art than those humans, i will and do value that.
      i value art, not the work of creators, necessarily. i respect that, in a way, but just because a lot of years and effort (or money) were put into a piece doesn't make it any more valuable, per se.

    I guess I am biased to believe that AI can't completely replace human writers and film makers. On one level this is impressive, (that is if this is completely the product of AI, without any human help.) On another level, this lacks real depth, sophistication, and emotion. I was not moved by it. Do we really want AI to write literature like Joseph Conrad's "The Heart of Darkness," which is later adapted by Francis Ford Coppola and transformed into the film "Apocalypse Now?"
