Hi po. Anung food po puede ipakain? Bale sabi po kasi ng vet ipork siya then hinaluan ko po ng carrots and kalabasa. Tsaka hypoallergenic wet food po pero nagkakamot padin po siya

She's on medicated baths din every 2 weeks sa vet niya pero wala rin improvement kaya awang awa na ako sakanya. Currently, mixed of Royal Canin dermacomfort mini & hypoallergenic and diet niya, sakit sa bulsa. May ma recommend ka po bang alternative diet ma'am? Get well soon, Luna! Miss u and Atlas. 💛
Hi, Precious! Happy to help! By any chance there's a way na you can do the medicated bath at home? If not you, maybe a helper who knows how to give dogs a bath? Yung every 2 weeks medicated bath is too far apart, Lalo if most of your dog skin and ears are inflamed :( last quarter 2021, I had to give Luna a medicated bath 2x a week. Now, it's once every 7 days nalang kasi there's major improvement in her skin. I think I can transition na nga to every 7 to 10 days. Mostly sa feet nalang Yung concern ko kasi. Also, please refrain from feeding your dog Royal Canin's Dermacomfort. Yung ingredients ng dog food na yan is mostly carbs and low quality protein :( kawawa naman yung dog mo. Luna is currently on a low carb low sugar diet, mostly boiled food: chicken breast without skin, 1 egg, plus veggies 3 to 4 kinds (my often go tos: cabbage, pechay, cauliflower, green papaya, bell pepper, celery, carrots), then I give their usual supplement ever since they were young which is Solgar EPA & DHA 950mg. This is her everyday diet. :) if you can, please slowly transition your dog within a 7 day period from her current dog food to home cooked meals nalang with high quality protein. I really don't understand why vets promote Royal Canin. I've seen most of their dog foods it's pretty expensive but it contains the lowest kinds of protein plus puro fillers like rice, wheat, barley, oats and mais/maize. Puro synthetic vitamins pa. If you can afford RC, I think you can afford home cooked meals. I'm not sure lang if you have the time to cook for your dogs. 😅 ganyan din kasi nirerecommend ng vets sakin lagi dati, puro expensive prescription diets. Which I never use because of such low quality ingredients 🥴
@@MarnelleO Opo, I admitted I was wrong din at some point kasi I just go with the flow sa kung ano sasabihin ng vet. She's on a raw diet po for almost 7 mos before switching to RC, nag transition lang kami last year after a lot of research and learning the pros and cons and the benefits. I was very careful sa ingredients po and asked a canine nutritionist to formulate her meals pero the vet didn't approve sa raw po kasi kaya napilitan ako mag RC :( My first plan po talaga is to switch her back to raw, since wala ako any issues sakanya noon pero sa RC parang naging super itchy siya. I will ask na lang po ulit sa nutritionist to formulate meals sa current situatuin niya. About po sa medicated bath, yes po ako na talaga gagawa. Ngayon ko lang po kasi talaga siya napagtuonan ng pansin :( I'm sad and very mad at myself for not noticing it sooner and not treating her right.
@@dayangskiii Hello! Ayon pala naka raw diet na pala siya before :( oo ibalik mo nalang diet niya before asap. Then pa formulate ka ng low carb low sugar diet sa nutritionist :) gagaling din yan. Tiyagaan lang talaga..Goodluck! Hope your dog feels better soon 🙏

If she has yeast or skin infections 2x a week :) otherwise, it's every 10 to 14 days depends how often din we go outside to play/run.
My dog food is Pedigree in cans, pedigree high protein then pedigree meat jerky and denta stick okay ba ang mga food na ito?

Long as the dog food doesn't contain sugar and carbs, but most store brought dog food's primary ingredient is actually rice, wheat etc. You shouldn't be giving carbs and sweets to your dog with yeast infection. It will make it worse. :)

Hi po. I have a shih tzu and yeast infection din po problem. And recommend ng vet is yung ketadine or mycocide na shampoo. And switch to dog food which is Any dog food basta may Lamb& Rice flavor. Okay lang po ba yon? Pls respond. Thank youu
Lamb is okay. No carbs :) carbs is starch which is food for the yeast. Mycocide shampoo is ok.

Hello! Ang yeast infection hindi nakakahawa :) it happens to dogs with lower immune systems talaga. May natural flora ng yeast ang dogs natin, pag mababa immune system ng dog nagkaka overgrowth. Likely, Yung yeast infection has developed to other secondary fungal infections na din, possible un ang nahawa or nakuha ng ibang dogs mo :( but Yung suggested ko naman na shampoo and treatments here is also okay for ring worms and other skin infections din
Ung mini doxie ko merong fungal infection.. ang binigay lang ng vet was ung medicated shampoo. However, it makes the situation worse.. kaya babalik kami sa vet nya.. nakaka stress, kamot sya ng kamot. Ung food naman nya is hypoallergenic. Binigyan ko sya ng coconut oil kaso wala akong nakikotang pagbabago kaya tinigil ko. Di ko na alam kung ano dapat gamitin kaya sana sa pagpunta sa Vet matulungan ako.
Please check your dog's food if it contains carbs and fillers like rice, wheat etc. Hypoallergenic doesn't always mean it's safe to give to dog's with allergies or itchy skin.
Totoo po yan... our beagle is also using royal canin na hypo allergenic...been trying different things... pero yung mga boiled chicken and veggies lang ang nag work sa kanya.... no rice... no bread...
Apple cider vinegar po very effective din... ang di namen nagamit is this shampoo... weve been using ketadine...

Pwede naman, but it's not as effective. Always better to use the raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar :)

Ngayon hindi ko na binalik lagi, Sabi kasi ng vet niya tama naman daw Yung shampoo and ibang steps na ginagawa ko pag nagkakaroon lang :) manageable naman kasi and now actually wala na. Bumabalik lang siya pag bagsak immune system ni Luna Lalo pag Naka antibiotics. Pero Alam ko na kasi gagawin pag bumabalik everytime :)

It is treatable and most chronic yeast infections are manageable. You really need to check on your dog's diet and stop giving him carbs and sugar :)

Maasim din after ng vinegar rinse. But after naman ma blow dry Yung dog halos wala na din amoy :) it's not that bad naman. Maganda nga kasi Yung pakiramdam ng fur nila is malinis talaga :)
May I ask po what particular veggies yung pinapakain niyo po? I’m trying to adjust my fur baby’s diet din po since I have noticed na kahit hypoallergenic yung nirecommend na kibbles ng vet sa fur baby ko noon lumalala lang po yung fungal infection niya :((
Hello, Yung royal canin hypoallergenic kibble? Number one ingredient kasi nun is rice..that's why :( I rotate her veggies eh, sometimes I give Celery, Bellpeppers, , squash, green beans, cabbage :) sometimes a give kale if I have extra budget. Make sure lang these are steamed and diced to small pieces better if you have a food processor:)
