This is why he was called the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL. ❤❤
Elvis Presley is the first Superstar forever. Elvis Thank you for your music. God bless forever. R.I.P
Maybe Frank Sinatra is one of the first biggest stars, or maybe another singer that we havent kwown. But Elvis is the biggest US artist.
At that time he was already very ill...that was one of his last concerts before his death...he died about 7 weeks later...God Bless him forever ....RIP KING ❤
Keep in mind, this is the last time he ever performed in public. He didn’t know it but it was him saying good bye to the world, and what a fitting song to do it with. You really should see the 2022 ELVIS movie if it haven’t.
Actually, this was not his last performance. That came a few days later at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana (which was not filmed), This was a part of his final tour, however.
It was the last FILMED concert -- he then went on to do a few more live concerts that were never filmed.
man he was special, when I see him like this, his condition..well I mean he was suffering basically of the same thing that little girl from Poltergeist, Heather O'rourke was suffering, anyway it's amazing what he could pull off even when he's practically telling people to not get their hopes up, very humble, I can only imagine what it would be like seeing him this way after growing up seeing him in those 50's movies and going into the Army and being there for important moments in your history, what a loss, imo he knew he was dying, just look at his condition, but of course like all of us he felt he always had just a little more time
And he still show who is the King.
this was 6 weeks before he died
Everybody else even now comes a poor 2nd. RIP THE KING.
"Unchained Melody" was originally written for a '50s movie about a man in prison called "Unchained". I've read that it has been covered by about 650 different artists. Elvis and Bobby Hatfield (Righteous Brothers) are probably the 2 best.
Elvis is still the king no one will ever take his throne. You can't fill shoes like that.
Well said 🫶🏼✨
Burning Love
You can feel it deep in your soul
Elvis still had the pipes even at the end.
Elvis singing this song makes me, an old dude, a teary-eyed mess. What a voice!!
oh my god , in my opinion on this last performance ever , we can see the power of human passion, his voice is so powerfull!!!! AMAZING!!!!! gosebumps....
It makes my heart happy to see your reaction to this song. Watching your facial expressions on a few key sections says it all. The appreciation for Elvis' music and his strong voice, even at this time, is a testimony of his impact on the world.💛😊💛
Well said 💛✨💛✨💛✨
Me too what a beautiful, godsend voice and soul.
Yeah a great movie reaction is elvis 2022 it will give you chills
The man was amazing … no other words needed.
Elvis will ALWAYS be the king. ❤️❤️❤️
american trilogy live honululu is the ultimate elvis video
I think we all wish we could go back in time to see him just in time or just one more time, for those who were lucky enough to see him in person. There is no one like him. ❤️
Greatest vocalist to ever live!!!
That smile is everything ... TCB forever !
Beautiful reation, love Elvis please do welcome to my world 1973 aloha from Hawaii thankyou
His voice never left him
SUBBED❤
Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
Try Polk Salad Annie(Vegas 70’)
We who lived and loved him were blessed because their will never be another Elvis Presley he was so beautiful and his voice never ever failed him
The sad part is that this was last concert when he was alive so this was his last song in life
He sang and played Blue Eyes Crying in The Rain on the piano, the night he died.
It was NOT his last concert -- it was the last FILMED concert -- he went on to do a few more live concerts after this one that were never filmed.
This is not, the last LIVE performance. Elvis gave 6 more concerts before he died. The last song he recorded Was WAY DOWN, TRY IT. i LOVE THE SONG.
Thanks for adding on to what I said. I see tons of these "last concert ever" and "last song he ever sang" in nearly every comment section for that video and neither statements are true at all. Personally I don't like that it's even out there as it's not very good and doesn't show him in his best light. But again its because it's the only video of him singing it that exists. I wish there had been video from the Ann Arbor show the Moody Blue version came from. I'll take that anytime over this version.
Way Down was the last single released by Elvis before his death. He'll Have to Go was the last studio song he recorded, at Graceland.
I like "The Wonder of You".
Are the best the greatest Forever king Elvis and goddess Marilyn. Amo re Elvis e dea Marilyn i migliori in assoluto 🔝🔝❤️❤️🇮🇹🇺🇸🇵🇸🇮🇱☮️
Having listened to Elvis' version of Unchained Melody hundreds of times, particularly this live version, watching another person experience it for the first time was special. There is so, so much symbolism in this performance I cannot watch it without crying, every single time. I lost my mother at age 13, in December of 1977. She was a devoted Elvis fan and everything about him ties me back to her. His voice and his performance are chilling, but the most precious part of this video is at the end of the song when he turns his face toward the audience and gives that little boy smile, his eyes asking for approval. I hope you didn't miss that because that moment is truly the shiny, perfectly tied bow on a beautifully wrapped gift. It was always about the music and his love for his fans. I thought I knew all of his music, having listened to it all of my life, but I recently discovered (and recommend) a song titled "Something Blue", written by Paul Evans and Al Byron. Something Blue was recorded and released by Elvis in 1962 as the 1st track, side two of his studio album "Pot Luck With Elvis". It is a very simple, sweet, melodic song on which his voice is divine and pure.
I agree, Elvis wasn't called the King for nothing. That being said, this was far from his prime performances of this song.
p.s. I was born in December of 1977, so while I am sorry for your loss, I am also appreciative to your mother for clocking out to make room for me :). It kinda reminds me of this song, no? th-cam.com/video/xsJ4O-nSveg/w-d-xo.html
Seriously? What an incredibly selfish and hurtful thing to say. You are truly an evil person.
His smile...I miss him
It's unfortunate that he died at such a young age. There will never be another one that will come close to this gifted man.
Long live The King!
Please react to Elvis singing “ What Now My Love”. Great vocals. It’s from his aloha from
Hawaii concert.
Listen to Elvis Presley ( Just Pretend ) 1970 Las Vegas Live Show Thanks For Your TH-cam Channel Ray Bernal Here From San Antonio Texas Saying Hello and God Bless You...( ELVIS IS THE MAN ) ......!!!!
ELVIS PRESLEY É A OITAVA MARAVILHA FEITA POR DEUS
THAT WAS ELVIS'S LAST TIME ON STAGE HE WOULD BE DEAD IN LESS THAN A MONTH. YOUR BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH, GREAT REACTION AND NOW I'M YOUR FAN.
This is my opinion the best version of this song
Elvis was great! But Bobby's was better. Elvis' was too "showy" for me. I felt more sincerity in Bobby Hatfield's.
Elvis was dying unfortunately and when he opened his mouth to sing you would’ve never known that. This is the best version to me also. So much passion
@@nicolegolya7845Bobby Hatfield best 👽
Nup!
Great but nup!
That ain't no opinion that's a factual statement 🔥
Elvis was the greatest ever. No comparison. This live version of Unchained Melody is the best even though he was obviously in very bad physical health. He died just 6 weeks later. I think this was his final concert.
This may well have been a 'live' performance but can you explain why it has a dubbed track - was he lip-syncing or was it just a bad performance by the producers so they could make a buck?
Beautiful girl!
Please listen to Bridge Over Trouble Water by Elvis on stage in 1970. It is fantastic!!
comme un mirage que long vois une fois ...Il n'y en aura jamais un autre comme lui. 💥💫💫👽👏🙏
Elvis Presley suspicion minds its so amazing amazing 😍😍😍
His last concert epic Elvis you are a legend
Elvis always sang his ass off for everyone.
Check out "Mystery Train/Tiger Man", Las Vegas 1970, he restarted his concert years in 1969 in Las Vegas after his movie contracts were finished, his movies were not doing as well as they did early on in the 1960's after his discharge from the army, so in 1968 he did the "Singer Presents Elvis Special" sponsored by Singer sewing machines, this was a make or break time for Elvis because he did not have a hit song in a few years, it later became known as the "68 Comeback Special", in 1970 the documentary came out "Elvis, That's The Way It Is", and the last documentary came out in 1972 called "Elvis On Tour", and in 1973 he did the first live worldwide telecast by an entertainer via satellite called "Aloha From Hawaii" viewed by over 1 billion people, and sadly in 1977, he did the television special "Elvis In Concert". ❤
This version (which despite the comments is NOT from his last performance - there were 6 more concerts after this one. It could be said it was his last professionally filmed concert but that's all) ...is the one that gets all the views because it's the only video of him singing it...however, the version from the Moody Blue album is FAR superior vocally. Make sure to give that version a listen too. It's another live version but from several months earlier in 1977. He's not gasping for breath in that one and doesn't lose his place in the song like he does here. There is no studio version by him. Here's a link to the Moody Blue version: th-cam.com/video/REvY97tozgk/w-d-xo.html
I don’t know where you get the idea there were 6 more concerts after this one. It is true that this is not the last performance but this performance is from his 21st of June 1977 concert at Rapid city, South Dakota which was his last filmed concert. His next concert on the 26th of June 1977 at Indianapolis was his last concert but was not officially filmed but there is video from audience members. There were no other concerts between the 26 June and his death on the 16th August. Elvis was due to start another concert tour on the 17th and 18th of august in Portland, Maine
@@bfv8 because his next concert was not June 26th. June 22nd, Sioux Falls, SD; June 23rd Des Moines IA (Ronnie Tutt's last show with Elvis); June 24th Madison WI (Jerome Stump Monroe on drums); June 25th Cincinnati, OH (Larry Londin on drums); THEN June 26th Indianapolis, IN (Larry Londin again for the final show). So 5 - I was off by one, sue me.
@@mochs3869 well I have to apologise, I did not realise elvis had these other concerts between the 21st and 26th june. When you mentioned 6 more concerts I presumed you meant between June and August. Imagine if these concerts were also filmed
@bfv8 I bet someone has them on 8mm film stashed in an attic somewhere.
@@mochs3869 I’d bet too
The original of Unchained Melody was by a singer called Todd Duncan in 1955 for the film Unchained then covered by the Righteous Brothers in 1965 (The Best Version) over 680 artists have covered Unchained Melody
Elvis his voice was always top notch. It was a god given voice
"Suspicious Minds" is my favorite Elvis song, EVER! He really sings the song so you hear the emotion in his voice. Also, "In the Ghetto" is probably one of his best Inspirational songs, beautiful backup vocals!
Elvis sang gospel, rock, ballads, almost anything. The Greatest! He had a beautiful soul, good sense of humour. A true believer in jesus christ. May he rest in peace.
The absolute best right up until the end he gave his fans 110% and more even when his health was failing.
Best version ever..... this was just weeks before he passed, and the true performer he was, he gave it his all....great reaction.... check out Elvis live from Hawaii, the song, What Now My Love
Tears in my eyes...Everytime.
No one can give flever n taste to music like Elvis did
I didn't know the significance of this amazing man till I saw the Elvis 2022 movie. Love you E! Great reaction ❤️✨
Ohhh wow, I wish I could impress a girl like he did in his late days. So wonderful seeing you such mesmerized.
THIS WAS SUCH A SWEET, GENUINE REACTION!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! ❤️ ❤NEW FAN OF YOU MY DEAR! 🥰
Magnificent….Emotional…..Only Elvis…..
Hermosa reacción, Elvis fenomenal.artista.
Thank you for your lovely, genuine reaction to Elvis's powerful and emotional performance. It saddens me to watch but I do like it❣
Unchained Melody is a brilliant song written by Alex North and Hy Zaret. There have been over 650 covers by some of the greatest artists, but the original was sung by Todd Duncan for the movie"Unchained in 1955. The Righteous Brothers sang the beautiful 60+ cover in 1965, which many feel is the definitive version, and is also noted as being the version used in the movie"Ghost". Elvis was known for singing amazing live renditions in the later years of his life.🎤🎹🎵⚡If you haven't already seen them, you should definitely watch Elvis sing 'Trying To Get To You ' and One Night With You', both from the 68 Comeback Special.👍
Must listen live appearances from Elvis: If I Can Dream (white suit MLK TRIBUTE during Civil Rights movement ). What’s Now My Love and My Way - Aloha From Hawaii, You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling, Trying To Get To You - Comeback Special. Just Pretend. Always the live version first!!
Polk salad Annie elvis presley 😍😍
This was Rapid City South Dakota 6/21/77. He did five more shows with the last ever show in Indianapolis on 6/26/77. My next door neighbor who spoke limited English was a tailor and repaired that suit in the early morning hours before the Sioux Falls show 6/22/77 not having a clue who Elvis was. When he retired, they had him on the news asking him what his most memorable moment was in all the years of business, he said it was that early morning call to repair that suit as it had never happened before. He said they offered good money (he wouldn't tell how much) but if he had known who and how big of a star Elvis was, he would have taken pictures. The song If I Can Dream from the 1968 comeback special is a good one also. He did so many great songs it is hard to pick them apart.
I love your reaction to this song. I also love how you want to go back and see him live, believe me, there will be millions more who would. It is always great to see the younger generation watching Elvis. Thank you.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
"Tomorrow Never Comes" , " Getting Back To You", " Memories", " Hurt", " It's Now Or Never", " Puppet On A String", " My Way", " Can't Help Falling In Love", " Devil In Disguise", " One Night" & " Fame & Fortune".
It was beautiful watching you watching Elvis. It’s sad he had a premature death. He obviously had issues that caused his weight gain etc.
RIP Elvis.
Only performer that can reduce me to tears. There is no studio version of this song, but a fantastic live version on the album, «Moody Blue». This was just weeks before he died, he is really struggling with his breathing. If you want to see Elvis in his prime, check out almost everything from his NBC Tv-Special, That’s The Way It Is or Aloha From Hawaii. Amazing versions of «Polk Salad Annie» (1970), «Bridge Over Troubled Water» (1970), or «An American Trilogy» (1972 and 1973). I end with the words of fellow rocker, Little Richard; «Once every thousand years, a Messiah comes along, this time it was Elvis». An incredible performer, with a charisma that is frightening. Elvis didn’t hurt a soul, only himself.
You cant go wrong with aloa from Hawaii concert, every song performed at his hight including American Triilogy
اعظم فنان على مر العصور لم ولن يتكرر الملك بدون منازع
I glad you liked the Righteous Brothers
original version of Unchained Melody
and I'm really glad you liked this version from Elvis as well, have an awesome great weekend and take care my friend
Adrianna.🎵🎶🎼🎹🎹🎹🎹🎼🎶🎵
Righteous brothers is not the original version
💛✨💛✨💛✨
@@johnwoodmass1584
I found that out but I hadn't heard
heard the original until now and
the Righteous was the only ones
that I'd heard sing it and didn't
even know that Elvis covered it
until now Thank You for letting me
know have a great weekend.👋👋
This was towards the end of Elvis life, and yes, he wasn't feeling healthy but the song is lovely. A Polish beauty like you will really be amazed with Tom Jones powerful virtuoso performance of "I'll Never Fall In Love Again".
That would be a good one to see because Adriana can see a version from when Tom was a relatively young man then watch the version he did with the son of the song’s writer around 50 years later on the Voice.
Now into his 80s Tom Jones still has “the voice” to sing.
Tom Jones version as a young man.

My friend showed me this song on VHS back in the day. I dreamt about it that night. We had to wake early to get to work on time they next day. I got into my brother's truck the next morning ready for work. My brother turned on the radio, it was this song that rang through the speakers. Great song, one of my favorites. I brings so many memories back. I love the reaction. This song fucks with my feels too.
