I grew up with the 996 gen, but the 993 generation is better IMO, just because it's the best looking 911 generation with the best boxer engine sound in the series. The low growl of the Flat-6 paired with the Twin-Turbos blow offs from the 993 GT2 is a symphony and is the best sounding 911 to me.
