Growing up, I was obsessed with many racing games like Forza and Gran Turismo. Those virtual worlds sparked my car passion, making me a true car enthusiast. I see cars as fantastic art pieces with unique styles and personalities powered by incredible engines.
My favorite type of motorsport to watch is sports car racing!
I really love weather and meteorology, which is why I got "radar" in my name. My ultimate goal is to become a meteorologist.

How GT World Challenge Europe Become So Successful?
The Blancpain GT Series kicked off in 2014 and focused exclusively on GT3 racing, capitalizing on its growing popularity. The aim was to make the series more competitive and appealing to all fans. In 2020, the series changed its name to the GT World Challenge Europe Cup powered by AWS after ending its deal with Blancpain. This change gave it a new vibe and helped it become one of the top racing series for GT cars, focusing on fun and competitive racing.

@TheFactorySealedCollector. Well, we have the Cadillac Hypercar and General Motors Company own Cadillac.
The r33 is the best all rounder car
Interesting but the background noise, can't call that seriously music can you, is not only distraction, it is irritating. The Mangusta looks cool with the headlights down, but I don't think it was a terribly practical car, with those butterfly doors over the motor. Getting the reserve wheel out must have been quite a challenge, to name but that. But ohterwise, what a beauty: it's what David Gilmour is to guitar music: not too much excentricities as Alfa Romeo, rather simple but with a lot of feeling, deadly efficient. The car looks good in virtually whatever colour, which is always a good sign. The Pantera was technically probably better, but when it comes to design, this was IT ! Gosh, the second half of the 1960's / first half of the 1970's brought so many top designs: the Mangusta belongs in that category
awsome video!

Great addition to those “Powered by Ford” lineup! Oh! a slap on Carroll Shelby’s COBRA, a “Mongoose “is the only critter that can kill it!
I was listening closely and heard PROJECT CARS 2 MUSIC HERE
The main factors for GT3 racing's success are not even directly related to the success of GTWC. It's within the class-format itsself: Road-car based racing machines, which aren't too expensive for the teams, but profitable for the manufacturers, since it's mostly customer racing. GT3 cars are also more approachable for non-professional drivers than let's say prototypes or open wheelers. And then there is the most important part of it, BoP, which basically turned GT racing into a multi-manufacturer racing format, that's about as equal as any spec series (most of the time). I would say GTWC became so popular because the GT3 regulations were so well thought through in the first place. GTWC's success is a result, not the cause of GT3's rising popularity.
How its popular? GT3 is freaking boring, not exciting at all.
You're totally wrong. Just say you’re not into GT3 instead of all that nonsense. 🤷🏾♂️
Great video! Do more videos about gt3 series and keep pushing
Hot take but I think this is one of the best looking GTRs.
Love the videos bro, keep pushing 🫡
👍🏿👍🏿
thank for this video!
The title is misleading. At least to me. Because I was expecting an explanation of why Group GT3 regulations became so widely used in different championship around the world like in the WEC, IMSA or DTM with the title "How GT3 World Become So Popular?". The title "How GT World Challenge Europe Become So Popular?" Would have been better.
I get what you’re saying-it totally makes sense. Plus, I think you nailed it with a way better title that fits the doc perfectly. I appreciate the help & feedback!
@@christheradarGT3’s history would definitely make for an interesting video. And one about other SRO championships? Yeah, I’d watch that.

Sportscars have always been my first love in motorsports. Beautiful cars that sound great racing on well known road courses. There are a different sanctioning bodies overseeing various races. Yet that doesn't seem to be a problem. SRO (which now includes ICGT), International GT Open and IMSA all host some great races. Le Mans 24 is still the grand daddy of them all with the Spa24 and Bathurst 12 putting up good numbers in terms of sponsors and fans. British GT had a great season. Car makes come and go while a solid core of regulars keep the sport healthy. SRO's appearance on TH-cam makes online attendance a piece of cake! It has also been free with ads but I would support a subscription model as well. The racing IMO, is that good. GT America has been a bit disappointing but the rise of GT Asia has offset that a bit for me. There are other elements to the racing that can be highlighted. For now, I'll just say that SRO has nailed down the fundamentals of good motorsports. Write a good set of rules and keep the gimmicks to a minimum. Race at well known tracks. I'd prefer staying off the streets. But I'm not the person in charge of the check book. One of the fundamentals of a healthy sport is staying solvent and growing. This is an excellent video. You managed to sum up the GT3 end of sportscar racing in about 11 minutes. Nice.
Nicee
My bad for mentioning "Hurricane" at 3:53 and 5:15 when I meant Lamborghini Huracan. Just a heads-up, "Huracan" means "Hurricane" in Spanish, and they sound super similar.

A great shame Corvette production ended in 2019 and that there hasn't been a Corvette since. I will remember them forever.
Uhmm, hello??? Corvettes are still being produced!
@@christheradar No they aren't. They got replaced by Pontiac Fiero Mark 2.
@still_guns No disrespect, but that is blatantly wrong. The Pontiac Fiero had nothing to do with the Corvette and nor did it replace it! Corvette did not end production in 2019. They released a new generation four years ago and just released the new C8 ZR1!
@@christheradar Corvette production did end in 2019 because the thing that Chevrolet is super gluing the badge onto is nothing like a real Corvette. It looks like an NSX and sounds like a Ferrari with a broken engine. If I super glue the badge onto a truck, does that make the truck a Corvette? True Corvette fans will never accept that *thing*. If a true C8 that resembles all production Corvette's built from 1953-2019 does not come along, then Corvette is truly dead and will probably never return. Not to mention the LT6 is a horrific engine and all traces of its existence need to be purged.
@@still_guns It seems like you're biased and one of those people who always try to correct others and spread misinformation, even when there's evidence against what you're saying. Clearly, your long essays seem to lack thorough research. Gtfo :D
