- For $339, is the Single Tour Leather Band made by Hermès for the Apple Watch worth it? In this video, we go over a quick unboxing and add yet another video to my official apple watch band reviews. It is safe to say I am a huge apple watch band lover. Everything from the sport bands, the leather bands, the leather loops, the nike sport loop and everything in between. If it is apple official, I WILL get it.

The letters on the band are sort of a signature, they're the initials from the artisan who made your band (I got this piece of information from the employee working at the "Hermès Room" at the Apple store Champs-Elysées in Paris).

7:25 I'd bet money that those screws are made to remove the apple watch connector and allow you to use the band on a regular watch. Definitely, a nice feature, if you decide to get a classy mechanical watch, you don't have to leave your $500 apple watch strap behind.

Funny. The MacBook Pro is too pricey for me. My wife got the Hermes Series 5. Worth every penny. She also has the Hermes series 2.
The series 5 is available with the orange bands. Combined with the half orange/half pink faces, a killer look for ladies. The orange is the real Hermes color.

The Hermès orange is the best shade of orange tho. Period.
It does perform very good in the water as I have expected for the leather at this price point. Someone like me who goes through $9 and $50 bands quickly will appreciate the quality of this band. It’s not only expensive, but it’s a practical choice for me.
Wait what? I didn't think any of the bands can break, been using the black sports band since Apple watch 1 and it's still in basically perfect condition.
I never had an Apple Watch before I always have every other Apple product I really like this one in the video that I’m looking at on Apple‘s website but I do a lot of jogging walking and some days going to the gym sweating disappointed so I guess the leather will mess up the minute it gets wet little disappointed in hearing that.... i’m heavily interested in the stainless steel Hermès but Disappointed on what you said about the water and sweat
The Hermes band and Apple Watch combo comes with your choice of leather band, the watch (face), and a rubber sport band that says Hermes on the inside on a metal logo which the regular sport bands don’t have. So you can work out in one and go out to dinner in the leather.

Please Juan. Anyone with a stable job that pays decent or that saves up can afford a Apple Watch hermes or the watch bands. As for the watch bands, yes they are excessively expensive but go tell that to the people buying Louis Vuitton’s or Christian louboutins. I see high schoolers with Louis Vuitton stuff that I wish I could afford. Course they probably got it using daddy or mommy’s money but still. Anything luxury like hermes, Louis Vuitton, or Christian louboutin are affordable if you save up and have a decent paying job. I made $1400 in tips when I worked as a server when the Apple Watch hermes 1 was out and bought it. And that was working part time. Granted I worked at a steakhouse but if I can afford it on tips like that then anyone with a decent job can. If you really want to rave about excessively expensive stuff, take a look at my dream watch in the jaeger-lecoultre master ultra thin perpetual. Comes in at about $20,000. Now that’s for your people who make more then your average person. Your lawyers and doctors and surgeons and engineers. And maybe just maybe your pharmacists and nurses(more along the nurse anesthetist or nurse practitioner then a regular nurse).

LOL at that price range you'll only get a decent quality leather. With Hermes you're paying for the best of the best (they are famous for their leather products). Expecting Hermes to charge that kind of price is like expecting Ferrari to sell you a car for $50k.

Yeah there’s multiple faces that come programmed already into the watch with you buy the Hermes edition with Hermes band. I really liked the surprise Hermes faces when I got mine
The reason for the deployment buckle is so it’s less wear and tear on the leather strap.

Yeah it’s literally just a leather band that’s only expensive because there’s a brand name on it (Hermès) and a fancy box that you will be throwing away or to be stored in a desk drawer, never really needing to use it.

@@thomanarchos Oh that’s so not right though, a car has so many complex part to it that is designed specifically by the brand. Engine cylinders, suspension, gas tank size, wheels, interior design, and something as little as the paint job is different. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot more that I didn’t mention. However, Hermes is a strap/ Band that’s made of good leather that can be produced by different manufacturers not that hard to replicate. It’s really like how most people buys iphones no matter what stupid new features that no one really needs were added. Because it’s considered a luxury brand and that’s what cool to buy. I’m not saying hermes is like bad or anything, I’m saying the product is not worth it for just a band of leather to put on your wrist. But if you buy it then cool that’s up to you to enjoy the product.

If you can detect a flaw in this logic, you can see the flaw in telling people the Hermes watch isn't worth it. Because it is to people who appreciate these things.
@@thomanarchos I’m saying the band alone is not worth it, the video talks about hermes band not watch. In terms for cars, some cars are more sturdy on rocky roads, some are built with very high acceleration from 0 to 60 and some are better at traction etc... whereas a leather band is simply made of leather. Leather isn’t so hard to create with such finesse. That’s my opinion and you don’t have to agree with it👍🏻

I compared the fake one and a real one and now i don't know which is the real one and later realized Hermes has a name on it and fake doesn't loll I was using the fake one thinking it is the original one
I disagree with the apple leather bands feeling like plastic. I have the modern buckle. It feels very soft and light, very comfortable to wear, and most importantly, it is so easy to put on and take off. Hermes leather band looks nice, but imagine you have to take it off once a day?

$339? Very normal in luxury world. Alligator strap from Cartier around $400. Not including the buckle that cost another $300 .... so ....... yea. Its consider cheap

As far as the watch bands go, I tend not to wear them. I have the fauve barenia (brown leather band) when I got the Apple Watch 1 and I wore it for a few months and over that time it started to bend and you could see the creases. Granted it’s still in pretty good condition but I haven’t worn it in over 5 years. I recently got the noir black Apple Watch hermes series 5 and got the noir band and I haven’t even worn it yet. Probably won’t until I get married in a year. I work in a hospital so probably not the best place to wear that leather band. And also where I live it’s very sunny and hot and I wear my watch a little tight on my wrist so the sun and sweat from underneath will probably damage the leather.

Why did you say I’d have buyer’s remorse if I bought it, then spent the rest of the video praising the quality, including saying that if I bought it, I’d be in for a treat? I appreciate your band reviews, but it’s off-putting when you say things like I’d have buyer’s remorse in a video when you do nothing but praise the product.
