i bought this and like you have been having a blast playing it. The only thing is that I'm playing it a little different: I roll a d10 and a d20 to start. d10+1= time and I compare the d20 result to the discipline chart to see if it's an a attack sequence (1-12) pitch battle home (13-16) or pitch battle away (16-20). Then I roll 2d20. One d20 result compared to the range you found by subtracting the con values before game to see who controls the ball. The other d20 compared to the def value of def team. If it's equal or lower then the result switches to the defensive chart.. Rinse and repeat. Other than deciding if you roll two or one d10's for time each turn, that's about it. I may very well be wrong. If I am my apologies. BTW, The game is really good. It paints a great narrative and builds come great tension as the game unfolds.
Great video ! Thanks for all your work . Just because I have seen your video about Soccer Blast i want to buy it and i think I will buy Dice United 2 as well :)
Love me some Dice United, don't have version 2 yet, but I will probably pick up the PDF soon. It's a great companion game for longer-play games like Soccer Blast.
Version 2 is very similar but the pitch battles are more refined - and better, I might add. The game seems to flow a bit better too. Best part is you can use DU cards in DU2. No need to buy new sets. I think Dice United is a great companion but is also a great game for doing season replays as you can get 8-10 games done in a a few hours.
If dice are 9 + 2 = 11 You drop the 9 Youd be in Crunchtime And you add 2 to current time if time was 85 then your in crunchtime at the. 87th minute If your second die takes you beyond extra time (minimum of 3 minutes ) Then match would be over
Thanks Philip! I get all of that but I’m still not clear on one thing. Let’s say for the sake of argument crunch time starts at the 40th minute. We’re on Minute 37. I roll a 9 and 1. 9+1 = 10. So we’re into the 47th minute, correct? Or would we just take the first number (9) and be in the 46th?
Hey Jason! Thanks for watching! Much appreciated. I can't recall where I got it. Probably the Delphi Forum someplace. If you can't find it just send me an e-mail and I'll send it to ya. MarcoGScola at Gmail dot com.
Great videos on this game and Soccer Blast. Curious about a comparison between the two (and any other soccer game). Looking for a faster play game for some projects.
If you’re looking for a faster game then this is the one for you. However, Plaay is releasing Soccer Blast Express this summer that, in my opinion, may replace Dice United as the soccer game I turn to for faster play soccer.

This is the correct process, he seems to be mixing up the first D20.
Ooops. I think you guys are right! My bad! I'm still learning the new game and it appears have fallen into a bad habit!
